It’s almost like the people who developed this app don’t actually ride the subway themselves. The outdated version 2 builds ago was much better. Wish I hadn’t been forced to get rid of it.
Good app, nice update, but the buses are labeled confusingly which detracts, the "express" buses have a flashing sign, where the "express" or "+" sign disappears as it flashes, making it incorrect signage for 50% of the time. So I'm always seeing a 44+ (meaning 44 express) driving by but since the bus sign flashes the "+" part on and off, it just looks likr a regular 44 bus is flying by its stop and refusing to stop. Great app but the buses are labeled obtusely and confusingly. Don't take the pertinent info off the sign please
Why can’t you use the access a ride within the app no more. It’s takes you to the online website now. I liked when you can book and view your trips in the app.
I was fine with redesign at first but it’s infuriating how when I open the app, it doesn’t show the actually station I’m closet to, instead it shows Myrtle-wycoff L even though I’m closer to a different L station. I have to actually tap the station I’m closet to to then get ETA information. Also the trip planning flow is so much worse than before, it completely doesn’t match the designs of the rest of the app with a weird “powered by google” autocomplete and was clearly rushed by the dev team
The best feature of this app for me is the countdown timer widget. I haven’t found another transit app that has a similar widget that you can configure for a specific station.
street name font too small, does not enlarge, train / buss separate if i take a buss i don’t know what train is close by. timing is as good as the station but doesn’t notify that train is not going to stop (express on-local track).
No notes.
Deleted the “Transit App” after the MTA app upgrade
The app is absolutely terrible. It is not intuitive and when I wanna search only one route like seven of them come up based on where I live I understand it’s supposed to be easier, but it really isn’t when you don’t give the customers the option to only look for one route, and as opposed to doing it location based. Also the arrow of where it’s going is absolutely horrendous. Just give me the option in the wording. Do I look like a compass to yall?
Is for AAR… I updated today & now my AAR is not workin & i can not book my rides which i need.. PLEASE FIX IT.. THANK YOU
impressed, excellent app by any standard, world class stuff tbh, super upgrade lately
The older version had a way to check out your favorite routes very easily. The new version seems to lack that. Also, expected times are unreliable. The MTA app said my bus was on time and 3 minutes away. Google maps said bus was delayed 12 minutes. Guess which one was right? Just use google maps and don’t bother downloading this.
