App shuts down after I click on wallet and I hate everything about these greedy people
Being charged $8 for activating my ticket right before getting it scanned shouldn’t be a thing especially if it’s proven that it’s not a scam/fraudulent activity. This is another weak money grab attempt to get more money out of hard working civilians. It’s just not right.
You can only purchase 1 ticket in 15 mins to credit towards rewards program. If you purchase multiple, it will not credit it. It is forcing you to purchase right before you ride.
So they hack the fare up and you would think Ohok after a certain amount of rides you get a free tick. Your ticket doesn’t last long. It’s a rip Off especially when you don’t have to be back to work within the 13hrs they give you to use it.The free ticket should at least expire after 48 hrs
I always buy and activate my ticket before boarding the train, exactly like the app tells you to do. Despite that, the app is now forcing me to pay an $8 “on-board surcharge” before I can buy another ticket. This feels completely unfair and impossible to dispute in the moment, especially when I’m actively trying to follow the rules. If a rider purchases and activates their ticket properly, they should not be punished with random extra fees. This comes across as a cash grab and makes the app feel unreliable.
Don’t fret, the LIRR is here to make sure the bookends of your day are terrible!
Check your travel plans early. Your device can get banned with no warning or notification. Also be aware of double purchases. Charging twice isn’t nice, but I’ve had it happen!
Bs policy, activate my ticket before departure and still receive warnings and have an $8 surcharge. Fix GPS issue I will not be using app. Bring back 10 day pass. Tell conductors to check ALL the tickets BY DOING THEIR JOB and then you won’t have passengers who go without their tickets being checked.
The Chinese are really embarrassing America - People aren’t the problem — bad execution is. You can tell the team behind this app doesn’t actually use it. It’s incomplete, inconsistent, and built without real-world thinking. It suggests prices instead of giving clear, exact fares. No breakdowns. No transfer costs. No transparency. Plan a trip one way, get charged another. Stations are missing. Routes don’t make sense. And somehow, you’re expected to figure it all out. That’s not innovation — that’s negligence dressed as tech. Build it right, or don’t build it at all.
This app is stilling money with out proper proof. We should boycott the apps and go back to old fashioned paper ticket.
