App malfunction stranded me mid-ride in a permitted zone. The “End Ride” button was disabled even though my GPS pin was clearly inside the allowed grey area — not in any restricted zone. The bike publicly announced I was in a no-ride zone, which was embarrassing and incorrect. I walked 15 minutes while being charged, never reached my destination. Phone support repeated the same scripted line three times. Email support blamed me for parking zone rules that didn’t apply to my location. BBB complaint filed. Dispute in progress. First and last ride with Veo
Could have been killed by this bike DO NOT USE
They doesn't pay you back very fast after they hold you’re money in you’re account, it took me 5 days to get my refund for the first time i used it, if that wasn’t a problem it would be a really good app. I’d avoid useing this app too meany times in a day.
stuck on unlocking. no bike worked. left me stranded. stupid app- bad UX
App decides to think right at the most urgent moment of my day when I need to get across town, the app decides not to unlock any vehicle and stays glitched in the unlocking screen. Many of us in Denver hate VEO I’m beginning to see to why. Thanks a lot for your unreliability.
Veos DO NOT WORK!!!!! Denver just got them. The map is inaccurate, all of them are dead, and I was just "unlocking" one for about 10min before I gave up. Absolutely horrible decision on Denver's part. I will try to avoid them to my full extent..
This app is amazing tbh, u can buy ride passes instead of being charged, use up those minutes in the time frame they give you. But the constant updates is what's driving me crazy
These bikes are trash. You scan and it takes your money. You get on to ride and take off as if your about to go somewhere but your going to spend more time trying to get the thrust going and before you know it. Seconds minutes has gone by. They lose thrust while ride in the street next to cars. The bikes aren’t maintenanced and is a safety hazard to the rider and general public.
This was great. I had to run to store and car is at shop, I’m 60 yrs old. Brought out the lil boy on me. Cudos VEO
Hello, Today I purchased the Veo subscription for $9.37. My intention was to ride a Veo scooter, so I signed up and paid for the subscription. However, after paying, I discovered that I was required to provide a government-issued ID in order to use the service. This requirement was not made clear to me before I completed my purchase. I do not currently have an ID available, which means I am unable to use the subscription that I just paid for. I attempted to cancel the subscription, but I was informed that I would not receive a refund. Since I cannot use the service due to the ID requirement that I only discovered after payment, I believe a refund would be fair in this situation. I am requesting a full refund of the $9.37 charge. I would appreciate your help in resolving this issue. Thank you for your time.
The geofencing was supposed to put me on the EDGE of the road, but because of the proximity to the SIDEWALK, it continually cut in and out, the ride was chopped up in sections, and because the assistive pedaling kept cutting in and out, I ended up having an Exercise-Induced Asthma Attack. Would not… use again, until they get the geofencing 100% perfect. GPS satellites drift… and someone in their dev team isn’t accounting for that drift in space. Once they fix their geofences? I’ll MAYBE try it again… but right now in Denver? I wish we had Lime and Bird and others back… because this sucks. Their app and the bikes are WAY too restrictive, and the assistive pedaling kept giving out IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC! No. Absolutely not… also, ALL of the bike paths and trails need to be added to the available pathways in Denver and surrounding cities — if we can’t ride the damn things but down 2 roads, it doesn’t help us much. Try again, dev team!
Day pass for Veo is three times the day pass cost of its competitor that Denver has now banned. Used to ride scooters to get around. Now I am priced out. Cool opportunity for low income folks, price gouged for the rest.
