Caregivers are allowed to cancel on services as the last minute, leaving pet owners in a panic as they are leaving for travel.

The only good thing I can say is that I found wonderful care givers. As for the app and customer service, it’s an unmitigated nightmare. You can’t talk to anybody other than AI, which goes around in circles. I was charged almost $400 of bogus charges, beside the $226 for the care giver, and so far I’ve had no recourse. None of my communication with emails and chats and their “tickets” have gotten zero response. I wasted hours on the phone typing, got hung up on 4 times, total nightmare. Absolute worst customer service bar none. Good luck if you have a problem.

I downloaded this app and sent out an inquiry and then realized that this app requires all dogs to be vaccinated. I never booked anything and I never did any meet & greets with sitters, but the app auto booked a the best match for my inquiry. A sitter showed up, and I wasn’t even in the same city! I never got any confirmation emails. But now I have a balance due!

Idk if it’s just my area but it takes a while for the walkers to confirm and the walks can be so expensive even when signing up with the monthly subscription that’s suppose to give you a “discount” .. I literally pay the same price including the monthly subscription so there’s literally no point. It can be useful when you can actually get someone to confirm. Again, it could just be my area.

Booked a service. Had them meet my dog. Then cancelled and ghosted. App was no help

My dogs used to love Wag, and customer service worked with me on refunds when my chihuahua would refuse to go. Then a walker lost my house key, and Wag couldn’t have cared less. No offer to replace the key or locks or anything. That was 8 yrs ago, and I haven’t used them since. Today one of my friends sent me a link to endorse her to be a walker, and it forced me to download the app again and log on. All of that just so the stupid app wouldn’t work.

Aimee was wonderful with Lulu! She treated her with so much love and care, and I felt completely at ease leaving Lulu with her overnight. She kept me updated throughout the day with messages, which I truly appreciated. It was clear that Lulu was in caring hands. Aimee was reliable, kind, and a huge help. I would absolutely trust her with Lulu again and highly recommend her! 💛

The app experience was frustrating and glitchy. There were multiple communication and scheduling issues, including our sitter assignment unexpectedly changing without clear notification, which nearly resulted in us not having care for our dog. Thankfully, we caught it in time and were able to resolve it, but the process created unnecessary stress. The caregiver herself was wonderful — the issues were with the app/platform experience.

Melissa has watched multiple dogs for me she is wonderful with all of my dogs. She treats them like family which makes me feel confident leaving them with her when I am out of town on business. Thank you for taking such good care of our fur babies.

Our experience with Ava has been exceptional. Her gentle approach instantly went over our dog, and her reliability is unmatched. She’s never missed a walk and always arrives on time. She consistently goes the extra mile, from thoughtful update updates to ensuring our dog is happy and comfortable. Thanks to Ava, we can travel without worry, knowing our dog is well cared for. I wholeheartedly recommend Ava to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, dog worker.

This app won’t allow you to receive important notifications about pet sitter visits or walks without also getting a barrage of marketing notifications and promotions. This is intentional on their end.
