Description
The new Dexcom Follow App is part of the Dexcom SHARE® system. Use this app if your loved one is sharing data from their Dexcom CGM app. The Sharer will need to send an invitation to allow you to connect after you have installed the Follow app. Dexcom Follow works seamlessly with your loved one’s Dexcom CGM, giving you visibility into their glucose data, even when they’re far away. Dexcom Follow allows you to view and follow their glucose levels, trends and data right from the app. Whether your child is in school, your parent lives independently, or your partner is traveling, Dexcom Follow helps you stay connected and informed. With Dexcom Follow, you can: • Remotely monitor your loved one’s glucose at a glance from your phone or Apple Watch† • Receive glucose information of up to 25 different Sharers – children, friends, or other loved ones – if you know multiple people with diabetes • Respond quickly with the help of customizable glucose alerts and push notifications that can inform you when a Sharer’s glucose levels are outside of target range

App is garbage. Constantly fails. Constant reinstalling. Main G7 app is garbage too. Constantly dropping signal. New dx in fam and forced to use this awful tool that is meant to help people stay alive. Upon research, G6 was much better… why fix what isn’t broken? This is people’s lives! And then there’s the sensors. Three fails in one month. Not rocket science to figure out why they are so quick to replace them for free.
Would love the widget option to become available for this app!
Even with multiple invites to multiple emails I still cannot follow their Dexcom profile. A real bummer, I was excited to send them little messages encouraging them to eat a sweet treat when they were trending low :-( This is still a non-functioning app that focuses on harassing you about notifications rather than basic functionality. The developer should be fired.
I’ve just started using this version of the app, which unfortunately doesn’t mirror the same functionality as the US Store Follow app, which allows integration with stacks and the Apple Watch. It would be great if this can be fixed in a future app update
This is the most garbage app I’ve ever used. I’ve tried sending an invite from my wife’s app 10 times, I’ve tried searching for my email used from her app and it says there’s no invitation sent. No email shows up in my inbox. And the one time I got an email to pop-up I clicked on the link and the app kept crashing. Just an absolute garbage of an app. Don’t know who they have doing their app programming, but they need to be fired. Crazy how an industry with so much money can’t get a simple app to work. Especially when it’s a life-threatening disease. Read all the horrible reviews and fix your freaking app. Should take a total of one day to fix.
Please bring back the ability to add as a widget! I loved the at a glance ease of checking numbers with the widget.
Notifications just..stop sometimes. Really dangerous.
Absolutely not acceptable. My mom’s app nor my follow app did not trigger an alarm when her level fell below 75 which was below the level we set. I will switch to other apps in a heart beat if there is another option
I don’t know if it’s a my phone issue or the app but there is no widget for the Home Screen,
I miss the old app’s widgets for iPhone. I have two sons with T1 and I follow them to help keep an eye on their readings. Now I have to open the app and click on each child instead pf seeing both of them on my home screen.
