I cancelled this app because it’s not a one stop app. I am directed to other sites so I am basically going through the same process I would without the app. I cancelled my membership before the trial was up last year and was still charged an automatic renewal even though my membership was cancelled a year ago and I gave feedback as to why I cancelled it. Now I can’t get anyone to respond to me regarding the auto billing. I have to go through the process of disputing the charge with my credit card. I really wanted this app to work, but it’s just a hub for information.
Trying to cancel this for three months as they try to take $60 from my account every time I try to cancel ugh!
Learn from my mistake, this app auto renews outside of apple. Thus, you will be getting charged but will not appear on your apple subscription list.
This app is so great especially for people who love last minute camping. Super easy to use, fast, not glitchy. I literally tell anybody who even mentions camping about this app. I’ve used it tons of times and never run into any issues with camp sights not being updated or wrong in the app. It’s cool you can add campsites to folders and share easily with friends. I literally sound sponsored but it’s fr just so clutch.

I downloaded this app in March for trial, never even used it once. Three months later, they silently hit my card with a $60 annual charge. Technically legal, it’s predatory to bury a 90 day conversion in the fine print without giving email about subscription or before billing. If you want to find great campsites without worrying about accidental pay walls or hidden subscriptions, ioverlander offers same services for free & its community driven!
They will steal your money don’t give them you credit card number
If I need to pay to find a free camp site, to me it’s not free camping. I get the same results from FREE AI Chat GBT. Save your $$$
I like this app and every few years I’ll pay for it for the cellular maps and good boondocking recommendations. But somehow without fail, the “auto renew”function seems to get toggled on and I continue to pay for it years after not needing it. Fun.
I had the free trial of Pro. There’s no way to unsubscribe. The support page sent me to a website with directions. The link described didn’t exist. On the app there’s a button to delete the account. It went to a blank page. The support is AI. No help there. So I’m waiting to hear from what is supposed to be a human. The campsite descriptions, however are good.
I did the seven day free trial to find free camping and all the “hidden” sites they provided were not free just more fancy and more expensive. On top of that they want 60 dollars to look at their not free campsites. The dyrt can suck an egg
