It’s an app that shows you farms in your area that sell direct to consumer except you have to pay to see the farms where you the consumer can pay for goods… Subscription based capitalism sucks.

Would love to have used this app, seemed like an absolute great idea. But a subscription to access information that is on your local government website (farmer’s market) or that can be accessed through social media is laughable
Great idea but it makes you have to pay. Accessing fresh and healthy foods is already difficult for people having economic problems, and apps like this want them to pay more to do so. Just google it your local farms.

Great concept but I can just look it up if you want me to pay for the entire service. At least do a freemium model
I love the concept of this app, but 30 bucks a year for an app when I can just use google. Not worth it.
First of all, I found this app through an ad and I was excited to try it at first. I almost uninstalled it since I couldn't afford the subscription, that was until I saw the "Nobody left behind" option at the bottom. I emailed them fast, explained my situation, and got a fast response within less than 30 minutes!!! Their customer service is amazing. Gave me an amazing deal!!! The app is straight forward and amazing to use. I always wanted to try shopping from local farms but never knew where to go, and this app has everything!!!
In a world of ever increasing corporations controlling every aspect of our lives, it’s refreshing seeing people fight for the people. Localize helps to bring communities closer together again through local food access knowledge on farms, orchards, ect in your area. Whether you need local pork, beef, eggs, flowers, or even raw milk if it’s in your area, it will be listed. Seemingly funded through a membership however if you’re not able to afford it as i wasn’t, you can make an account for free :) 5/5 ⭐️
But being forced to sign up for a yearly subscription to even see anything made it not worth the app space on my phone. SMH very disappointing as it’s such a great idea and I understand they need to be paid to grow but there should be other options for payments rather than a forced annual subscription only.
