User Reviews
My apartment complex switched from Latched. This app has not been working for me, which is frustrating when trying to navigate throughout my building.
This is the most incompetent electronic lock product I have ever had the misfortune of using. It freezes the f up randomly, leaves you stranded outside or unable to leave because you can’t lock your door. If you see this coming to your apartment complex, do not walk, RUN!
Major bug/tweak in latest release? The unlock shortcut no longer works to unlock my front door because my front door is not among their choices for the shortcut anymore. -2 stars. BUT there’s a fix. Hope this works. “You can now unlock your door while your phone is locked. To enable this, you'll need to refresh your shortcuts. Open the Shortcuts app, delete any DOOR shortcuts, then come back - everything will work automatically.” Previous review: Some improvements in latest release. Watch support added…sort of: no way to login via app? And the watch ‘complication’ is gone!!👎 TIP:if you keep on having to log into the app, it’s because you’re not leaving it running in the background? that’s my experience. Original review : Doesn’t work-existing latch login rejected wow, they can’t get even the very basic of basics, right. Also, it doesn’t seem that there is Apple Watch support ? They’re DROPPING that?
I can see the convenience of having this software but it has consistent bugs that make me want to just stop using it. From stalling to open the door, or all door codes being removed on the iOS widget or even failing to connect to the lock altogether, makes for a poor experience. For context, I live in a large apartment building.
Would be nice if the watch app didn’t ask me to sign in every time I try to use it without my phone. What is the point of having an app for the watch if you always need your phone with you.
Good
I’m not sure how this app has such good reviews. There is no way to customize it. I have to search for my door in a laundry list of other doors. No support. Bugs with the app. I wouldn’t recommend. Give me a key please.
The app is a little delayed when jt comes to connecting to the door. The other app that was used before was instantaneous. Sometimes I have to wake up the lock on the door to get it to work…
The App could be a little more customizable to help you better organize your environment as a user
It’s slow, often alerts “Theres a problem”, or “Bluetooth connection error”. That’s a problem when you just want to get into your apartment. When I set up a widget as recommended, the problems got worse. It’s unstable at best. Customer service people are nice tho.
This version is worse than latch in every way. It’s slow to unlock- like multiple seconds each time. The shortcut doesn’t work- it opens the full app and all doors, making it once again take longer to open. And I often need to close the app and try again because it either won’t recognize my door or can’t get it to unlock. This app is the worst and I don’t understand phasing out something just to make a slower, worse version
Too slow to open the door
