User Reviews
This app is so helpful for me in managing my PCOS/PMOS symptoms. I’m currently a college student and only got diagnosed a few years ago so using this app has helped me better understand my body without making me feel bad for being a little uneducated. Would recommend!!
I recently found out I have PCOS after years of struggling and not knowing why. Unfortunately, I do not have any family members or know anyone personally who has the same diagnosis which left me feeling lost and alone. This app has been a life saver when it comes to figuring out where to start so that I can work towards feeling at home in my body again. RUN don’t walk!! I also wanted to take a moment to say the creators of this app are incredibly kind and understanding. This has made me feel safe and even more inclined to trust this app when it comes to guiding me on this journey. Best wishes to everyone on their PCOS journey 💗
I loved it at first. Loved that you could scan foods and it would tell you what was good to have and what wasn’t. I originally downloaded the app because I have such a hard time finding the right recipes and finding stuff I love to eat while trying to manage inflammation and my weight and all the other issues associated with pcos/pmos. The meal planning sounded so good at first and loved there was new recipes added daily but WHY does everything have to be AI?! Any time I’ve ever used an AI recipe, it never comes out right. You can tell all the photos/recipes are AI because none of the photos match what you make (there’s an ingredient clearly in the photo, but no where in the recipe, and they look delicious in the photo but not after I make it) I can’t stand it because I’m just wasting food and money because I don’t like anything I make from this. There’s a few snacks and smoothies that are good but that’s about it. I know it’s cheaper and easier to use AI but I really want recipes that are actually made and tested by someone that knows what they’re doing.
Seemed a bit predatory with the only way to get a cheaper monthly price was to attempt to delete the app. When I did go for the 4.99 for a year (after I looked at the app because I couldn’t before I gave them some money and didn’t really like the set up) it was going to resub for 19.99 in 30 days rather than the 4.99 I signed up for to pay monthly a year. Very shady. Would not recommend. There are more apps to try.
They have such a sweet team that is letting me be able to use this app to its full potential and i couldn’t ask for a better company who would do that. thank you and i hope everyone gets to try this app too and support them through this!
I’ve been trying to find things to help with my PCOS since doctors always want to say the same thing. “Lose weight and take metformin”. Well, I decided to look into TCM, and finding that food is medicine especially when it comes to all the issues PCOS involves (now known as PMOS to help the underlying issues hopefully). Anyways, the biggest struggle for me is meal planning/menu/shopping.. because I’m so tired of not knowing what to fix with the ingredients that I know is for PCOS to help with inflammation and insulin resistance. This app has dinner, lunch, snacks and breakfast. A lot of the ingredients overlap too recipe to recipe (so you don’t have to buy 1000 things just for one recipe). Alongside, it takes in account for allergies, dietary preferences (both lifestyle, avoiding and foods you just don’t like). There’s even a grocery list and calorie tracker so you can do all three things at once instead of having to rely on multiple sources. I’m really hoping this app helps to some degree with my weightloss journey or at least with feeling physically better.
This app doesn’t work it only takes money out of you bank account
Just tried to download this PCOS app to try to help me manage stuff and it literally tries to instigate a feeling of helplessness to get you to pay for it. Absolutely deplorable.
PCOS Pal is a really helpful app for anyone dealing with PCOS. It makes everything a lot easier to understand and keeps things organized in one place. You can tell it was made with a lot of care and actually takes people’s needs into account. The creator also seems really understanding and supportive, which makes the whole experience feel more personal. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone trying to manage PCOS and learn more about it.
It keeps asking me to review it every time I log a food. VERY annoying
I have struggled with my PMOS for years as well as it being dismissed due to not having the cystic type and only it being metabolic/systemic. I was excited to find this app on ads and was wanting to try it out due to how in depth and how many features it had, especially the recipes which I’ve particularly struggled with. I’m a SAHM of 2 toddlers and when I saw you had to pay for the subscription and how much it was I knew I would not be able to afford it so I ended up emailing them and they were able to accommodate my financial situation. I am so grateful for their generosity and giving me the opportunity to genuinely track and have resources for supporting myself and my journey to getting myself healthy and continuing to trend down in my weight. Thank you for allowing me this opportunity PCOS Pal 🫶🏼
Loving the app so far there are so many cool features!! Recipes, tracking tools, workout routines, and more! For so long I’ve wanted an app like this that truly understands me and my body, not just the normal calorie deficits that work for others. Thank you PCOS Pal!! 🩷
