PulsePoint Respond
Description
PulsePoint Respond is a 911-connected mobile app that can immediately inform you of emergencies occurring in your community and can request your help when cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is needed nearby. If you’re trained in CPR and are willing to assist in an emergency, the app will alert you if someone near you is having a cardiac emergency and may need CPR. In addition to nearby “CPR Needed” notifications, you can choose to be notified of other events that may impact you and your family, such as wildland fires, flooding and utility emergencies. You can also monitor live dispatch radio traffic for most PulsePoint-connected communities with a simple tap on the speaker icon. PulsePoint currently provides coverage for thousands of communities in North America, with many more on the way. For more information, visit pulsepoint.org, contact us at info@pulsepoint.org. PulsePoint Respond is an end-to-end FirstNet Certified™ application. FirstNet Certified solutions must demonstrate 99.99% availability and pass independent third-party security, data privacy and performance audits. PulsePoint is a 501(c)(3) public non-profit foundation building applications that help public safety agencies inform and engage their citizens. User Reviews
pulse point is helpful when there’s like accidents or incense or that
I wish that all Departments in Babylon Township showed what units responded to incidents.
I love this to be prepared to drive not to go anywhere where the accident are
Being in a wheelchair on an upper floor, I used the app to determine why FD was here to decide if I needed to leave and how. But for quite some time it stopped working at all. When the update came out I tried it again, only to find information delayed for hours if it is presented at all. The app is no longer useful where I live, and even my neighbors who’ve sworn by it have given up on it. So uninstalling again, and doubt very much I’ll give it a third try.
App runs smooth and all but why is the address number gone really was nice when it showed the full address
No longer being notified of fires.
I am a first responder and I will absolutely recommend this app. There are times where I hear the app come through before I hear my car come out on my page and sometimes I hear it before my radio this app is very useful to help me get ready to respond to a medical call or even a fire emergency.
Virginia State police, Waynesboro police and Staunton, Virginia police need to be added.
Was a great app until the audio was removed. Would be nice to have it back.
As a volunteer fire lookout, it tells me not only where incidents are located but also which units might not be available were I to call in a smoke
Was a great app but recently there are major delays in reporting of incident. Hours sometimes!
Still experiencing a delay from when a call comes in until the information is posted….I’ve contacted you before about this…info used to be posted almost immediately…but since PulsePoint was down for a couple of weeks ..it hasn’t been the same since
