I made a baby registry with Amazon but didn’t like how I couldn’t add things off of Amazon in it so I switched to BabyList and i love it! First of all it transferred my entire Amazon registry over so I didn’t have to do it one by one. It gave people an option to just ship things to my house which made it easier for people to gift us who couldn’t attend the shower. It shows you what people purchased, and you get a free box of baby samples from BabyList themselves after someone makes a purchase of a certain amount and all you have to pay for is shipping which was $10 for me. I seriously could recommend this app enough.
I love the baby girl newborn stuff
I find the guides useful, but I can only bookmark them if I access them from the Guides page. If I search for a guide or access it from the home page, there is no option to bookmark the guide, meaning I likely won’t be able to find it again when I need it. Please fix.
So the app itself is awesome but the area where someone can purchase a gift card for you has got to be the most frustrating thing ever we had a family member give us a gift card via the app with a very substantial amount of money on it but you can only use the gift card to purchase things that Babylist carry’s then you go to Babylist and everything is out of stock or it’s double the price for what you can get from somewhere else. Had planned to use the gift card to knock off some more pricy items but no such luck when you are so limited
Best baby registry app by far. Easy to use and helpful for planning all that you need for the baby!
I’ve tried other registries and this one is soooo user friendly across the phone/computer! Also love the milestones checklists and other tips! Still have yet to explore the rest of the app!
Baby list has been a huge help in organizing my registry. It was very easy and user friendly. Give multiple options on where loved ones can purchase an item. I’ve had to do very little with this app helping me make my choices.
Loved loved loved this registry! I got an update anytime someone bought something, and I liked how I could categorize items and organize my page how I wanted plus adding pictures to my profile (maternity shoot) really personalized my page. Easy to use for everyone involved 🥰
But when I come on there with the illusion I’m going to have a free box sent to me I don’t expect to pay shipping an handling .. then it’s not free
Babylist is honestly one of the most frustrating platforms I’ve used. The idea is great, but the execution is terrible. Gift cards are basically useless unless you want to overpay for everything in their store, which completely defeats the purpose of having a flexible registry. The site is confusing, not user-friendly, and makes simple things like searching or reviewing items way harder than they should be. It feels like everything is designed to push you into their overpriced marketplace. I would not recommend using Babylist — there are much easier and more transparent registry options out there.
