User Reviews
It didn’t even ask me for a membership and now im being charged $88 for what. This app never even let me add my banking information so how that even happened? No clue. Disputing now because that’s outrageous
I wanted to focus more on becoming financially literate and this app honestly is the guide to help you gain that knowledge. I honestly had no idea what I was spending until the app presented to me that I spent $4000 in a month. That’s $4000 I could’ve saved which really woke me up. I highly recommend this app if you want to help reach your financial goals.
I can’t link half of my accounts. Some examples are Sallie Mae, Mohela, and Bilt Mastercard.
Love him and his show, wished this app would’ve worked. Biggest one is app doesn’t link to bank and can’t use app without a subscription.
The app itself works fine. My low rating is primarily due to an issue I experienced after about two months of use. The app locked me out of my account, and I was never able to regain access. Although I paid for a full-year subscription, I was unable to continue using the service because of this problem. I contacted customer support and sent multiple emails seeking assistance, but unfortunately, the issue was never resolved. As a result, I paid for a subscription that I could not use for the majority of the year.
Hi. Huge fan of Caleb but I was wondering if there was something that was more Cash budgeting friendly. I mainly use cash to purchase things because I am on government assistance. I would like to get on to of my spending and be able to afford a place to live one day. Came here from YouTube and I do appreciate those videos too.
Good idea, but needs improvement. Doesn’t accurately label transactions and then bring those labels into the budget making the budgeting function not good.
My hope is support will see this review and make the necessary changes within the year, then I can update the score. I wanted to take advantage of the master your money and dollar wise (1 year) bundle. I got my accounts connected and after a little while things started to populate…except my daily driver credit card (The Bilt Palladium card). Since downloading and connecting in early May not a single transaction has come through and the balance doesn’t reflect on the app. Also the account syncs are very slow sometimes 3-4days before balances update and transactions appear, compared to Rocket Money where it will update within hours or a day at most. A feature that is missing that I think is critical is a way to manually track other assets and investments that aren’t supported by their connecting partner. I’ll keep checking in on their progress throughout the year, but in the meantime I’m reactivating Rocket Money. I’m rooting for Caleb, but these are some massive holes that need filling (phrasing).
I thankfully have no debt (besides my phone payment) but manage utility bills and after a month of watching Caleb and downloading this app I am no longer living paycheck to paycheck. Makes budgeting so much easier and will definitely help when I get my first mortgage in a few months!
I heard about this from one of the creators who compared it to Mint, a great, but mysteriously discontinued FREE service. As I began using Dollarwise, I provided logins to connect three or four financial accounts. Then it started notifications at every turn, saying an update was available. When I was ready, I chose update. No update was installed, instead I got a paywall. AFTER taking all that financial info, it then starts insisting on subscription fees. That’s some UPFRONT LEVEL INFORMATION. Disgusted and turned off by the money grab. Kick rocks!
