ALDI Grocery Pickup & Delivery

They updated this app and it’s been mediocre at best when doing a pickup order.

Why is it every time i update the app it gets worse! Stop changing it, you’re just making it less user friendly & outright terrible to use.

The store on White-settlement Rd is not available to select in the app.

Can’t password reset, can’t create account. Directed to instacart that directs to Aldi.

I started shopping at Aldi’s a few months ago when my 91 year old father in law asked to go there to pickup some items he needed. I downloaded the app so I can compare prices between them and other big name stores. I have yet to find an item that is more expensive at Aldis. As far as the app I love the grocery list feature. I can add an item and quantity to my list and see what it will cost before I go shopping. I have the two other big name stores apps and although they have a grocery list. I have not seen where I can add my quantity or cost of the items on my list. Great app.

The app was working fine until the latest update. Now, when I open the app, it says: “Uh-oh. Looks like your app needs an update.” However… there is No Update Available in the App Store. You folks really need to test your “updates” better, before releasing them… I can’t be the only one with this issue. I’m an Aldi loyalist; but, this is unacceptable!!! Please fix it. Thanks.

The Aldi nearest to me has been in business for 5 years but for some reason it isn’t available on the app. It doesn’t even show up but locations 40 miles from here show up. And they haven’t been open half as long as the one in my town. Frustrating and inconsistent.

I can look past the clunky layout of the app, but the whole family order/family account thing does not track well. My wife will put in an order that shows up on my account and I get an email for it, but nowhere on the app does it tell me the order is fulfilled or ready nor does it give me the option to check in to receive the groceries. It’s tied to my wife’s phone, which is not up to par with other major grocers. I have to walk in and go through the process of convincing the workers that I placed the order for this specific store location etc. all the while it could be easier if we both were able to receive a check-in text or code from the app.

I checked the app to see what store still had inventory of an item I wanted. I drove to the store (1h away) and everything was gone even though the app still showed inventory after multiple refreshing. Very frustrating!

Your most recent update ELIMINATED a location in NJ—Hackettstown. When will you make the correction?

The app is narrow and doesn’t fill the screen so it is often tedious to read. Does it cost more to make it bigger?
