App claims there is a way to report station issues, but it’s not obvious.
Worst charging experience I’ve had with an EV charging app. Why would I need to press “start” after I do all the manual work of plugging in my work to charge at my ASSIGNED charger. All other chargers just automatically start charging. App can be way better once it starts to charge as well.
Tried to use this system twice. Poor customer support with long wait times to talk to a rep. Charging stations are not updated. Ex - doesn’t show the unit is out of order. Monitors screens are old and hard to even read. Don’t waste your time with this one !
all I want is this thing to do is to charge my car. I don’t want it to connect my Wi-Fi. I don’t want it to send me text messages. I don’t want to send me emails. I don’t want to send reminders. I don’t want it to send me marketing materials. I just need a car charger that charges my car. I’m sitting here staring at a light blue flashing light, which of course is not covered in the pamphlet
As other people mentioned, you HAVE to make an account and hand over all your data before you can even plug in for your first charge. Typical Silicon Valley behavior. Now, the last few times I went to my local charger station and scanned my Apple Pay, it kept giving me an error message like “multiple cards detected” (I only have one debit card linked to my account). So then I decided to scan my actual plastic debit card and they really hit me with a FIFTY DOLLAR FEE! For context I usually pay like five bucks max to charge my BMW i3. This is just ridiculous and downright predatory. Too bad the other EV charge companies do the same scummy tactics. Just another reason I regret purchasing an EV vehicle!
I hate this app and this entire network. Almost never works, inaccurate information about location of chargers, chargers don’t work, don’t even think about trying to use apple wallet with it.
I have one of these chargers at work that should be accessible to me. Today, it chose to make me look like an idiot as I stood there trying to get the stupid thing to scan my phone. Wouldn't detect it no matter what I did. A charger I can't actually use is not only useless, but deceiving. This is what I get for relying on someone else I guess.
First of all…..it doesn’t have my vehicle year or color correct. It doesn’t give me the option to fix the year. It also doesn’t have all the charging stations for my vehicle, but it’ll give Tesla charging stations. DELETE DELETE DELETE
Constant credit card declines that then just go through. Plenty of double charges. Customer support is does not help at all. Cannot keep track of their charges and having to constantly cross-reference with Credit Card statements.
The app kept directing us to the wrong locations northbound on I-5 from LA to the East Bay.
