Description

MyNetDiary is the calorie tracker you'll actually stick with. Log meals in seconds with a free barcode scanner, Meal Scan (just photograph your plate), or quick search. No ads, no account required. Then get on with your day. Trusted by 32 million people. Named the top weight loss app by Forbes Health (2025). Highest-rated by the American Journal of Preventive Medicine. The New York Times called it simpler, quicker, and better-looking than the competition. Featured in Today's Dietitian, alongside WW and Noom. WHY PEOPLE SWITCH Our food database has over 2 million staff-verified items with up to 108 nutrients. That matters because most apps rely on crowdsourced data full of duplicates and errors. We're also fast. We logged the same 127 foods in every major app over a week. MyNetDiary took 31% fewer taps than the most popular calorie tracker. Less time logging means you actually keep doing it. The free version is generous: barcode scanning, macro and 108 nutrient tracking, food diary, calorie calculator, and progress charts. No ads, no paywall tricks. Active members lose an average of 1.4 lb per week, according to the MyNetDiary Efficacy Report. Many switched from other diet and nutrition apps. WHAT YOU GET FOR FREE • Food log with barcode scanner, search, favorites, and recent meals. • The largest and most accurate verified food database — 2x larger than competition. • Macro and protein tracking with custom daily targets. • Nutrition tracking across 108 nutrients — vitamins, minerals, omegas, amino acids — plus water and exercise. • Calorie calculator, deficit tracking, customizable dashboard, and progress charts. • Coaching tips, meal reminders, shopping lists. • Professional Connect: share your diary with a dietitian or coach. • Inspiring community with daily success stories. • Articles by Registered Dietitians and how-to videos. GLP-1 COMPANION A dedicated tracking system inside MyNetDiary, built for people on Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound, and other semaglutide or tirzepatide medications. Turn it on and the app reconfigures around what matters most on GLP-1. • Medication tracker with reminders so you never miss a dose. • Protein-first dashboard that keeps muscle protection front and center. • Fiber and hydration tracking — GLP-1 side effects hit harder when you skip them. • Symptom logging to spot patterns and share with your doctor. • GLP-1 recipes and meal plans built around high protein and easy digestion. • Trend charts for weight, protein, hydration, and symptoms in one place. PREMIUM PLUS — AI COACH AI Coach is built on 20 years of nutrition expertise. Once you try it, you'll wonder how you tracked without it. • Daily guidance based on what you actually ate, not just what you planned. • GLP-1 specific coaching that adjusts advice for medication users. • Meal suggestions matched to your calorie budget and preferences. • Restaurant menu scan to find the best options when eating out. • Voice logging: say your meal and MyNetDiary logs it. This app is amazing, the features and ease of use is just outstanding! Would highly recommend for anyone looking to track their caloric intake! I tried the premium feature as well and it was great, just not what I needed from the app. Install install install!!!

★★★★★Best calorie tracker🇺🇸 US

Been using my net diary for years and I haven’t had an issue with it. Subscription is affordable, simple layout, and has everything you need to properly track what you eat in a day.

I hated the Weight Watchers app so I downloaded this one and it’s WAY MORE USER FRIENDLY and I kinda enjoy counting my calories this way and it showing me my goals daily

★★★★★An eye opener for sure.🇺🇸 US

Skeptical at first but once I started tracking my meals I was floored by how bad my eating habits were. A little over two months in and I’m down 36 pounds and eating healthier then I ever have. It’s surprisingly easy to lose weight when you know the details of what you’re eating. I enter every single meal and keep a watch on the nutrients almost religiously and haven’t felt this good in 20 years. The autopilot is a great tool and the ap is well thought out and full of useful information. Absolutely 5 stars.

★★★★★Love the basic app—AI is not good🇺🇸 US

I’ve used this app for years. Tried a different app that had AI so decided to give it a try here. Not continuing. AI is just minimal. Other apps are better. Not stopping Netdiary but not the super duper new version, that has been cancelled.

★★★★★Best Overall Nutrition Ap🇺🇸 US

I started using My Net Diary over 2 years ago when the app I had been using stopped working, then went behind a paywall. Having suddenly lost access to my account history on that app and several years of records, and having grown frustrated with the cumbersome process of entering the foods I ate, I decided to explore some different apps if I had to start over. I saw good reviews for MyNetDiary and started using it. I was using it more for its nutritional tracking capabilities than for weight loss, due to a medical issue with my heart. Having the ability to track protein, fat, cholesterol, and other nutrients was vital to my situation. After using the free version for a several months, I upgraded to the paid version because it allowed me to track salt intake along with the other nutrients I was tracking. I’m not sure why tracking salt was excluded from the free version, but it was. I love how easy MyNetDiary is to use, especially the ability to scan the bar code on foods and easily capture and track calories and nutrition information. I found more and more convenient features the longer I used the app. I have even documented some foods that were not in the food database, and the people who administer the app added them within just a few days after I reported them. That level of response and support is really rare, and I really appreciate it. I have also entered in many recipes for meals I cook and can easily track my meals any time I prepare those same meals. I also use the GPS exercise feature that tracks my time and mileage when I go cycling, and lets me import the calorie burn into the app. There are lots of other features I have not even used yet, and I will probably explore some of them in the future. I just had my 2nd annual renewal after the initial upgrade to the paid version, so I am now starting my 3rd year as a paid subscriber. The only thing I wish this app would do is better integrate with off-brand sports watches. It does integrate seamlessly with several name brand sports watches, but not the off-brand one I am using. I still manually add in my steps to MyNetDiary each day, but I wish that would be automatic. Overall I am highly satisfied with this app, and therefore I’m willing to keep paying for it. I do t know how I could do without it after using it so long. MyNetDiary easily rates 5+ Stars❗️ and I didn’t even have to think about it. Highly recommended ❗️
