They made it their task to make this app horrible for sellers and buyers. They added illegal overcharges through their EIS program that forced buyers to pay up to 4 times for the same domestic shipping with a far longer delivery date. They have raised the % they take from sellers sales to absurd levels, they ban sellers over absurd claims even when they have 100% rating and above average status, they have made the platform friendly for sellers and buyers who scam and offer horrible experiences for buyers. Their IT service is deplorable they outsource to countries like India where representatives give false information, dont know ebay’s own policies and if you decide to have them call you to solve a matter the representatives leave you on hold while you hear babies crying on the back while you problem/claims/issues remain unheard and unsolved. This issue stems from ebay’s current administration making horrible and divisive policies while driving down their services to the gutter. Look at their instagram page and you will see many complain and many sellers getting their accounts blocked for unjust reasons. Ebay literally messes with your livelyhood regardless of how good of a seller you are. They even set ridiculous standard for casuals sellers, ebay says they want to make sellers lives easier but in reality they are making it harder and for buyers as well. A new platform needs to take over and crush ebay for good.

The apps functions are horrible for as big this company is. Contacting a seller is impossible sometimes.

Constantly crashes and terrible customer service and support

Non functional features for a lot of sellers, such as listings not saving. Great for buying merchandise tho

I’m not sure what’s going on with eBay but there app is loads so slow. It’s the only app that gives me this issue so I know it’s not my device or connection. I’ll get so frustrated I’ll just close the app. It shouldn’t take 5 min to load a message you need to respond to urgently. App is up to date as well. Please fix this or I’ll just stop using your app, it’s not worth it when I can just go to Amazon

Trying to buy a old ufc walkout jersey and I filter it by clothing shoes and and accessories and I keep finding shirts that aren’t my size like xxs or xs and I’m not filtering price or anything just trying to find shirts my size there is no option to filter by size I don’t know if it’s a bug but I spent a long time trying to find it I asked chat gpt maybe it’s a bug but I went through everything and it’s not there maybe it’s only for the app and on pc version you can idk making it a lot harder and longer process to buy a shirt and this is why eBay got wrecked by Amazon this is why blockbuster lost to Netflix

In addition to being an annoying app that logs you out for no reason, eBay is full of scammers. They want scammers as it is profitable. Really, considering the amount of fraud they facilitate (and make money from) they should be RICO’d.

Nothing lined they used to be. I’d rather pay a subscription to Etsy

I sold an item on here and eBay incorrectly flagged the weight on it (I set the right weight and they still penalized me), so for the past month they've been trying to take money from me that they do not deserve, I contacted customer support and they told me it was USPS who was at fault but I had already contacted USPS and they told me to contact eBay. I looked up my issue and it turns out they've been doing this for a while since I found a thread on Reddit from over a year ago. DO NOT USE THIS APP, THEY WILL ROB YOUR MONEY FOR NO REASON EVEN IF YOU DO EVERYTHING RIGHT!
