For controlling the light it’s fine. Getting connected requires the QR code from the packaging. DON’T THROW THIS AWAY. If you get disconnected you’ll need to scan it again. And you will get disconnected. You’ll get disconnected every time someone else tries to connect to the light. Only one phone can connect at the time, so if you have more than one person in your household, this app is useless. It disconnects the current connection when connecting to another phone. Then when the originally connected phone comes home they can’t use the light without rescanning the code and starting over from scratch. Very frustrating.

Tried to like this WiFi lock but it was a no go and the replacement did not work either so after speaking with their customer service Home Depot gave me a refund and I bought a real WiFi lock from another company which works perfectly.
Easy Installation. Convenient
This app is complete trash, why does it need to update and be down so often? Cheaply made like most trash from Home Depot

Terrible for sunrise sunset … does not recognize time zone even when entered

Units are doing ok, but periodically they have to unplug and then replug to make it work again.
