Swimply - Rent Private Pools

I babysat for my sister while she worked during one of the hottest weekends of the summer, so I decided to get creative and try Swimply for the first time. Booking this pool turned out to be the best decision! Everything was thoughtfully set up for us, from beach towels and pool toys to goggles and even a separate bathroom for guests to use. It made the entire experience so easy and comfortable. The kids had an absolute blast, and honestly, so did I! The host was incredibly accommodating and made us feel very welcome. Unfortunately, we had to cut our visit short because of the rain, but that just gives us another reason to come back. I can’t wait to book again and enjoy the rest of the amenities this beautiful space has to offer. Highly recommend!

It’s an awesome way to make extra money without doing alot.

This is a great idea in theory however it’s unfortunate that Swimply is taking so much of the revenue from the people that share their homes. It’s not just the service fee and the service fee is ridiculously large. You shouldn’t have to pay $350 for two hours at a pool that’s Ludacris. Other cities have similar apps that don’t charge so much.

If you book anything and the services aren’t truly provided as listed Swimply will not stand behind you. You will be screwed over and there is no refund!

I love this app. I have been using it for the past three years and I always find great pools and host. Never had any issues with my rentals! #swimply is the best.

I canceled well within the refund time frame and I’m still waiting for my refund a month later. They keep telling me they are working it. Saying it’s stuck in their processing. Now they won’t even respond to me. Renter beware!!!!!!!!! I’d give it zero stars if I could!!!!

Our family spent the Fourth of July afternoon at Forest Pond and we had the best time! They have everything you could possibly need or want there for a day of swimming. The little cabin there was a great place to change and keep our snacks and coolers. There was tons of seating, swing sets to enjoy, places to eat, lounge, etc. They had tons of pool toys, floats, and we also rented the paddle boat, which was super fun. We are already planning our next trip!

I’ve used Swimply for 2+ years and while I like the business idea (and love swimmimg), the app sucks. It’s often glitchy. Last month I booked a “guaranteed” pool and drove my family 45 min to get there and the owner never “accepted” my guaranteed booking so we couldn’t swim. We were a really disappointed family. Also, when you proceed through a booking, if you would make minor changes in the final pages, it readjust your hours automatically. To a time you didn’t choose. You have to be really careful before you hit book to make sure it’s the hours you want. Finally there is zero customer service. I feel like this app is running completely on AI and there are no people around. Even when I purchased an expensive “exclusive” membership, Swimply customer service people regularly told me they were sorry but they couldn’t really help with my questions or concerns. Swimply is a shell company with no real employees working there.

The one star is for the customer service support chat which was horrible. I contacted them regarding a booking I had made and I kept receiving the same repetitive answer from 3 different representatives which I believe are AI bots because the chat kept getting disconnected and after reentering all my info again it would be the same representatives coming back to the chat and restarting the conversation. I must have been disconnected like 10 times and was on hold majority of the time. Long story short I was not able to get my concern addressed.
