App doesn’t track well even in clear sky view of satellites and full bar cell coverage area. Track jumps across bare land and only shows half of the tracked route even when the trip summary shows that the mileage was actual.
Even with the option ticked on to avoid gravel roads, it will still send you down a gravel road and it has done so many times. On one occasion, I popped over a hill on my sport bike doing 50 miles an hour, and it immediately turned into gravel with no warning. I have a crease mark in my seat now.
Seems better than the Harley app. Still determining if I want to pay for a subscription. Any chance you can add this to Apple CarPlay so I can pull it up on my nav screen? I think this would be a game changer and I’d see the value in paying for a subscription.
App is pretty useless they won’t let you use any features unless you pay 60 dollars a year
Don’t fall for all the clearly fake flashy reviews. $60/year for an app that can be replaced by google and a pen. Greed kills all useful things
I tried five times to set the language from German to English, and every time it seemed to take, but the app refused to display English. It wouldn't display Spanish either.
Today I took a curved road to a destination but arrived at a dead end!! The application did not take in account a waged away bridge that was since over a year inaccesable!! I had to turn around on a one way street downhill with a passenger!! I said the F word a few times!! I will notify this next time on the Detecht App to make sure that the App can take this problem in account.
I figured I would try to and the route planning was great until it came time to ride the route. Didn’t matter where I started or where I was it continued to tell me to go back to the beginning and start over again and wouldn’t continue the route. Apple Maps took over and got me back on track
App provides a way for loved ones to monitor and track your rides.
Great for finding new routes and riding to new places, also good in case of emergency it will automatically contact first responders and your emergency contacts if you get into a crash.
