Ive deleted the app and redownloaded it hoping the notifications will work but i still get nothing

Such ridiculous guidelines, you cannot describe an incident without them blocking the post as you CANNOT describe a person who is trespassing. Your Failures in this subject will never allow your app to be as good as it can potentially be.

Our ring security cameras recorded a suspicious vehicle that was giving off high levels of infrared light that was the equivalent of floodlights we have a secondary security system that is looking in the normal visual spectrum this vehicle was driving in the dark I tried to report it to Neighbors for people to be aware of what's going on and like usual they said that I couldn't do that because I did not know what the intent of what the person was doing. This further escalated into a serious situation we contacted the FBI and local law enforcement was very agitated that the FBI was contacted. My devices do not use the service it appears they pick and choose who gets to their site and who doesn't and when it comes to national security these people can get a lot of Americans killed

This app is made for safety concern stuff like that for your neighborhood and community but my post about a creep going around knocking on children’s windows keeps getting denied. What’s the use of it every time I get on there all I see is a lost pets. The app should be called lost pets You can’t warn your neighbors or your neighborhood about strange men knocking on kids windows. Without getting denied, it’s a huge safety concern. This app is useless.

But the lack of moderation makes it completely unusable. You have the same people spamming fake or derogatory comments day after day. I understand the community can moderate but it’s unfortunately not enough. Ring team should require stricter categorization when a comment is made and look into at least using AI agents or something similar to ensure it stays on track. Otherwise the app is completely useless for emergencies or other information.

I believe that the purpose of this app (in addition to reporting issues) is to inform neighbors of suspicious activity so that they can be vigilant. Multiple of my posts have been rejected by moderators because the report isn’t of an actual crime. This is extremely disappointing as it prevents those around me from seeing a potential issue and being vigilant for their own safety.

If you’re looking for an app that is for reporting crimes and/or suspicious activity, then this isn’t , the ones using this love to report coyote sightings only, also if you want to report a criminal activity and put certain…uhm… details such as ethnicity, it will likely be deleted. Remember , This is for coyotes sightings only
