Inputting beneficiary address info is impossible after special character is included. Cannot ever remove the special character and thus cannot complete beneficiary address info. Reported this to them and a year later still no fix. If you have an App, make it work and fix problems. I’ll probably rollover my 401(k) to another company for this reason alone.
The app doesn’t open just the empower screen 6-9-26
Not able to update
It will not allow me to add a contingent beneficiary
I called to opt out of retirement plan before contributions took effect. Said I was not listed and directed me back to my employer. Employer told me to call Empower again. I finally found on the application how to opt out, but not before a pay period contribution. Now I will have to fight to get my money back.
Love the empower app that allows transparency when it comes to managing my retirement. Past employers only supplied quarterly statements and required physical paperwork to manage funds, whereas the empower app allows me to see and manage my funds in real time. Amazing tool.
Absolutely trash app. Glitchy. Always freezing and crashing. Wish my company had never moved over to them
This newest update is terrible almost impossible to navigate and track finances. The older model was so much easier and convenient for us dummies.

Lame, plain white user interface, no real insights or functionality not pretty to look at or play around with.
