Verizon Family

This app glitched to the point that I had to completely refresh my son’s gizmo, wipe it clean, and start over losing all of his contacts because it was stuck on school mode! Bring back the gizmo app.

I had to switch to this to continue to manage my son’s gizmo watch. We set it up so that family members could see each other’s locations, but disabled all the other features like driving insight. However twice now I have gotten a notification about a summary of my driving. Even though it was a high score and said I was driving well this feature should be disabled. If I click on it in the app it says disabled. If I click on the summary notification it brings me to the app and shows me everywhere I drove and gives me all the information about my drives. Why is it collecting this data when I explicitly shut this feature off? I had to give it precise location permission so I know it’s tracking me constantly and the ~7% battery usage on days I’ve never opened the app let me know that it sure is. But driving when I tell it not to is a little too far. Why give the option to shut off the feature if you can’t shut it off?

We might as well bought a regular Apple Watch. The new way of messaging on Verizon Family is horrible. It takes over 1 minute to load new messages. Even when you leave the chat open, it glitches causing it to reload.

Why force us to abandon an app that performed every function we desired!? This app is buggy and contrived and overly complicated to use. I also noticed that after the app was installed and setting and parameters transferred, the Gizmo Watch now takes hours to charge, even from 90-100%. This isn’t something I broke, this is something directly related to Verizon. This change is atrocious.

Needlessly complicated! Not intuitive whatsoever… but why should we expect anything different… this is standard Verizon…

Whenever I try to setup safe walk it always gets stuck when I tap next to

I don’t like it at all. It isn’t very good. My husband was added onto my son’s locator. I think. It’s so freaking confusing.

It keeps bumping me out won’t let me back in. My husband will re add me and it might let me in it might not. Iv had to re do this muti times over past few days extremely annoying I can’t stay signed in and then won’t let me back in

As a parent this does not work. I tried calling the 1-866 number today and it just rang. As I downloaded the companion one on my daughter‘s phone, the Sm dumber came up and stated that this was an error message. This cannot be. I had to call the one 800 number I re-downloaded the companion again three different times. Same error message came up. The rating of the companion was a 1.2. I don’t know how the Family Verizon app this app is a 4.2 rating that the Family app is perfect. It is not perfect so I don’t know how this is working so someone needs to tell me how this is working.

I wish that you guys were more like Life360 where you can see exactly where the person is at all times how fast they are going and have the alerts when they are in a wreck or something like that but otherwise I do love the feature that you have
