The biggest problem with most apps is they’re complicated and take too long to learn. This one is super simple to learn, covering all the basic things I want to use without making things complicated.
My friends sent this to me as a fun thing to do over the summer. I’ve had it about 3 days and I’m already obsessed. You can compete with your friends (making you want to move more) and it’s so accurate. For me, having an Apple Watch, allowing the app to connect with my Apple Watch for step counts is amazing. I do believe there is a premium, and while I haven’t invested yet, the free version is just as good and honestly the premium might not be crazy better. For lifetime, it’s only $25 in total. The standard version is worth it too. There aren’t crazy ads or requirements or something that blocks use of the app. I am so glad my friends found this and this app will never be deleted off my phone.
I’ve been using this app for awhile now and depend on it to capture all my steps. Downloaded it for my sister and connected it to her watch as well so she can monitor her steps. Doesn’t matter what the apps you use, if you have this app it will capture your steps
It’s a good tracker but I don’t really care at all. And who cares how much steps they did? Me. Everyone. The Earth. WHO CARES?!
This app has helped me tremendously increase productivity and improve working out.. it challenges me to make sure I get my daily steps in while competing with others in a fun way

Update in response to the developer’s response: I removed the part about being suspicious since the dev says they never sell step data. It does not change the fact that it’s 5 lines of code with admob to disable personalization of ads, which would prevent a user from having to toggle hundreds of toggle switches. You can have a serviceable ad-driven app experience. This is not that. Ok cool - you pay for development of your app with ads or collecting data on users or whatever. Neato. But to make someone scroll through hundreds of ads networks and vendors simply to not consent to any of that is atrocious. If you like step tracking and want more out of your data, get pedometer++. If you have to download this app because you’re in a group that’s walking together for some challenge, I feel bad for you, but I’m right with you in that boat. If you download this app willingly - don’t. Just go without, or use pedometer++. That’s the only app besides the Apple health & fitness apps and it’s worlds better than this app.
So I try to see my steps and a RobinHood add pops up and fills the screen. There is no option to close the ad without downloading Robin Hood and you can’t go back. So basically you can’t use step up any more.
My family is on the app and it keeps us all motivated as we compete against each other

This App keeps me on track! I love it!
Very robust app. Had open heart surgery and doctor recommended walking. One daughter recommended this app. Now my entire formed a group and there is always a daily friendly competition. Good health to all.
