★★★★★Missing my custom workouts🇺🇸 US

I had a bunch of workouts saved in the old app that I used for reference. I hope you’re bringing back that build-your-own workout section of the app. It was super helpful when I first started.

★★★★Ruined this gym🇺🇸 US

They have ruined the classes. I will be cancelling my membership because of these horrible changes. Limiting the classes you can take, unable to cancel, having to “confirm” or you get kicked out of the class?? How ridiculous. So many restrictions, this new app lags worse than the old one did, they removed the location of the class which was actually a useful feature!? And for some reason the app is now in the wrong time zone with no way to fix it? Yeah, horrible changes EOS.

★★★★★Not a fan🇺🇸 US

This new app isn’t the easiest or clearest app to use. It’s a good effort but not ready for public use yet. The movie schedule is impossible to see (and find on the app)! I’m glad they finally added it in an update but you could only download it and not actually view it. I look at that schedule often throughout the week! And is there a way to see other gym’s movie schedules? The classes are a bit more organized but I am always having to add the locations I like to look for classes in - just remember it already! And I don’t think it’s right to depend on us to confirm attendance (especially when it’s glitchy) for instructors to get credit for attendees. It’s annoying for us and u fair for them. I also really liked the rankings. Kept me motivated. And where did the Apple health integration go?? I’m just not a fan of this new app - it proves that new is not better at all. Just bring the old one back!

★★★★Please delete this new app and focus on your original app.🇺🇸 US

There is absolutely no benefit that I’ve seen within the new app, the original app works better as well.

★★★★I can’t find my gymBugs/Errors🇺🇸 US

If the old app still worked, I’d be using it, but it doesn’t. I can’t find my local gym and I can’t sign up for classes. I hear good things about the new app, but I have yet to discover them.

★★★★Class scheduling issuesBugs/Errors🇺🇸 US

Seems problems with app and class scheduling are common. Also please fix the filters for the classes resetting every time you open the app! I go to several locations and now i have to reselect all the locations every single time which is frustrating! And what is the point of the favorite teachers feature? Just to give them a little heart for fun? Or the locations one which doesn’t work. It’d be nice if you could easily filter by fav teacher or set your favorite locations easily instead of having to redo the search every time

★★★★Horrible awfulPoor UX🇺🇸 US

It doesn’t keep your favorite locations you have to reset it every time. Very hard to read and find g fit classes and it is stupid they expect you to recheck in five minutes before class! I also take three classes in most days and it stops you at two! That makes no sense and now teachers won’t get credit for their attendance because I’m still going to my classes. It really seems EOS is going downhill sadly

★★★★The new version is a downgradeMissing Features🇺🇸 US

I primarily used the app for booking group fitness classes…and showing my bar code to check in. In the previous app, I had my top 4 locations selected and could see all classes at those gyms. In the new app, even when I favorited gyms, and select favorite gyms as a filter I only see my home gym. And as noted by others, you can only book two classes a day. Why? Seems like the purpose of the “new” app isn’t for the user, but to promote the “deals,” and likely to have more access to my data. We’re forced to use the new app because the older one doesn’t show group classes anymore. A better transition between apps would e been appreciated as opposed to a full disruption.

★★★★Worse than betterBugs/Errors🇺🇸 US

This app has a nice look but functionally it’s terrible. Doesn’t save favorite locations for class schedules and doesn’t show all the classes.

★★★★Doesn’t work on iPhone 15Bugs/Errors🇺🇸 US

I have tried downloading multiple times. After opening it goes to a white screen indicating you can type in city or zip code to see if the new app is active in your area. I do that and nothing happens. And I can’t get off of that page. Sucks!

★★★★why “improve” what was not broken?Missing Features🇺🇸 US

I live in southern California, which is definitely a car culture place. I am also a long time attendee of group exercise classes. I joined Gold’s (which turned into Eos) because my other gym cut way back on group fitness classes post pandemic. So far, I am NOT impressed with the new app. The bad: *No real support for the app from Eos *Lacks vital options in Group Fitness section, especially for car-based so Cal *Vastly downgraded options for class sign up *Glitchy sign up process for app The good: *bar code scan in works better than old app *much easier to see location of classes once you are finally !?$&@*% able to see classes for multiple locations Okay, let’s start with the bad. I agree with other reviews. The interface to sign up is flawed. I forgot my old password. Am now signed up with Apple and want to change back to a password.(I was in a hurry to reserve a class). No way to do that. The app basically forces you to go to a brick and mortar location for help. Bad design that does not account for typical user behavior. My other gym only allows me to sign up/reserve spots in classes two days ahead. I liked being able to reserve a spot a week in advance—but this app only allows two days in advance—*and nobody at Eos communicated to members about the change.* (when Gold’s rolled out the new app, people came into classes to inform members and offer tech help!) Southern CA has a lot of people who work one place and live in elsewhere. My office is closer to one location and my apartment is closer to another. I take classes at multiple locations. But I have to filter for multiple clubs every.friggin.time I go into the “G-fit” [stupid branding for group classes, btw] schedule. There appears to be no persistent way to filter for several locations. Did the people who designed this app do any research into how human beings actually used the existing app? Since I joined Gold’s, the app has changed *four* times? How about you survey the ultimate users of your app, get it right the first time, and stop “improving” it in ways that downgrade the user experience? (It’s also a fail on controlling my access to what data gets used, btw.) Two small things it gets right: The bar code to scan into the club works more consistently for me than the previous one did. The old exercise classes schedule made it really hard to tell which location a class was at because it used codes instead of city names. This version did improve those two things, but those are such small improvements that if I could go back to the old app I still would in a heartbeat.
