User Reviews
This app has become an integral part of my workflow. The built-in filament library makes updating information quick and painless. It’s already a great app and continues to get better with each update. Highly recommended.
The app’s biggest value is convenience. Instead of manually tracking every spool in a spreadsheet or notebook, you can keep the information on the tag itself and update it as filament is used. That matters most if you own several spools, swap materials often, or use a printer that can benefit from RFID/NFC spool identification. It also seems especially relevant for users of systems like Anycubic ACE Pro and similar RFID-enabled setups, where spool recognition can reduce setup time and mistakes. In my opinion well worth the one time investment.
This app is simple, easy and convenient for my needs. I thank you greatly for making this app and for making the price point for the app reasonable. There is only one feature that would make it perfect in my opinion, that is to be able to print a label to stick on the spool with the same info as the rfid tag
I’ve been using this for a few weeks to use up old spools without having to manually load them into my ACE Pro, and it’s been absolutely fantastic. I’ve thrown all matter of cheap RFID tags at it and it can handle them all. No more need to respool my filament onto taggable rolls when I can slap a $0.10 RFID sticker on my existing spools and code them in 30 seconds. Many props to the dev for releasing this for free, I would have paid for it!
