SuppCo: Supplement Scanner

I had 15 supplements that I wanted to review and all but two we’re in the database. Great UI chat that allowed me to make adjustments improve the quality and keep a check on Price. Great to see the interest from Function health and the integration with blood markers. Already a member there. Perfect marriage. I had already done the scheduling on my own, but it validated the work and ideal. Nicely constructed application for supplements.

It doesn’t have all the facts when it rates supplements. Like for my melaleuca supplements it rated them 4/10 because it claims it lacks a third party testing. It goes through vigorous testing, including third-party testing. It also says it’s not accredited and it’s accredited by the BBB. Then it rates supplements that you can get from the pharmacy shelves as 9/10. It rated the Orgain plant based protein powder as 9.5 and states that it’s completely safe and free of heavy metals when in actuality it is has toxic levels of lead in it as reported from consumer reports. So this app does not do its research. Do not waste your money.

One of my most favorite apps to keep track of my supplements and actually had to find alternatives for a few i was taking which weren’t good for me. A++

The app is not working. I am pressing the icon to open the app. All that comes up is the logo. Does not load. have been patient with it for over five minutes with no loading.

This app is so easy and is a wealth of knowledge.

I am so excited that I came across this app. This has changed my life for the better. I was taking a lot of low quality and expensive supplements. Now my stack is significantly higher quality, much lower overall cost, and I understand which supplements shouldn’t be taken together. I truly feel empowered with my health and I’m already feeling better now that I have been on higher quality supplements. Thank you SuppCo!

The UX could use some work. I have a supplement rated low but the alternatives presented are not similar to the supplement that was rated. I would also like to be able to add additional profiles for individuals in my care who would not have the ability to track this for themselves. Some of the doctors I recognize advocating for this app sell supplements so it makes me wonder if this is simply a sales tactic. Finally, while advertised as a free app, I logged in and was immediately presented with the Pro version.

This is the best app for assisting in comparing and choosing appropriate vitamin/ nutrient support. I love the fact that you can compare the brands you are currently taking, evaluate them, and consider other options based on price and quality. With this app I am able to list what I take. See where there is overlap in nutrients and receive recommendations to correct the supplements for overall healthy support.

I really like the app but wish it had a section to keep a list of vitamins I’d like to add to my stack. I would give it a five if it had that

As a 72 year old grandmother on a fixed income , I wanted to see if the budget- friendly supplements and vitamins I take are of good quality and free of impurities. Thank you SuppCo! Two of my supplements were of very low quality. So I switched them to better-rated ones right in the app AND was able to stick to my budget. This app is a keeper!
