User Reviews
Great listening. Informative news.
One of, maybe THE dean of thoughtful topical writing, can’t seem to provide what virtually every half-baked news source does … give its readers the ability to adjust font size! Your average subscriber, I’d guess, is not 20 years old. Provide dynamic adjustable display sizes now please. It’s vital. The Atlantic is an outlier in its inability to keep fans talking, some can’t make it through an article in the first place. Fervently hopeful for your joining the rest on online reading community. My son gifted me with this wonderful opportunity. Everything the new outlets refuses to address I have found in The Atlantic thus far. I am completely enjoying my gift.
Goldberg, it doesn’t get any better than this. Watergate, what’s Watergate.
Great articles. Horrible app. If you see an article on Facebook you can't navigate easily to the article in the app. I tried the app search feature typing the exact name of the article and it didn't appear. I tried using the authors name and couldn't find it easily. The navigation and look up seems archaic.
There are several issues with this app. First, there is no article share button—you have to go to the website, which makes zero sense. Second, I often get a blank page while reading an article, and I have to click back to the main page and click on the article again. Finally, if I go to another app and return to the article, it skips ahead and I have to scroll back to where I was. I love the articles, but the app is not great.
Interesting articles that are well researched and often provide deep insights into topics I previously knew little about.
Occasionally I’m into sports and the ra, ra, ra,of it all! This hot summer even more so. As the season has been hellish here in New Mexico! I’ve been watching the crowds at MSquare Garden. Loving the energy and enthusiasm in the Atlantic’s joyful article describing the outcry from the Swedens Soccer fans professing their love for “RANCH” dressing. How wonderful it is for us Americans to have visitors from across the Globe reveling in American cuisine! Thank goodness for the Atlantic! Spread the joy!
The Atlantic is a beacon of light during these murky times. Thanks for taking risks. I love the option to either read or listen. I get the print magazine too.
I’ve been reading the Atlantic for the 3 decades since college. The writers, contributors, and staff are a who’s who of modern American thinkers and their contemporaries. The intellectual foundations, the bona fides, the considerable discipline of their critical thinking reflects a pageant of ideas. If the Atlantic covers it, considers it, turns their formidable attention to the subject, the reader benefits and is enriched. Dive in!
The Atlantic’s writing on politics, culture and countless human interests is unparalleled. But the Atlantic’s app won’t allow for subscribers, like me, to offer respectful comments.
Excellent articles - written by those with competence in their field; pertinent to issues facing the US today
