I don’t get why this app doesn’t let you leave comments—only on the website. It’s 2024, how hard can it be to add such a basic feature to the app?
I tried to download the most recent issue before getting on a plane (which had no WiFi), but the so-called download let me read only about half the articles. Half the articles only showed an error message that I needed to have internet access. A far superior download capability was eliminated when the WSJ app was overhauled a couple of years ago. Please bring back that full function. You certainly can’t be proud of this weak halfway offering.
They finally solved seeing comments in the app. Thank goodness.
Not sure what happened, but it’s a mess now. Put it back to the previous iteration…from a few days ago so the iOS keyboard can be used and we can preview letters, words etc. Other aspects of the app are fine.
What have you done to the Crossword section? In landscape, the print is so tiny I can barely see it. In portrait, I can’t see across and down clues at the same time. My completed puzzles don’t stay in the App so I can’t tell which puzzle I did last. Please change it back.
If you click to read an article and within the article page, hit play to listen to article, it will play. However, as soon as phone locks or you turn off the screen, the article stops playing. However, if you hit play in the screen where you can scroll through all the articles, black earphone icon appears on bottom right, and the article does not stop playing even if you turn off the screen. Please fix this bug.
They’re still partnered with polymarket despite their own reporting revealing that they pay influencers to shill them
No place to find the userid.
News content is no longer accessible via the iPhone app. Regardless of an active subscription, every attempt to read beyond the headlines will be met with a screen demanding the purchase of an additional $39 monthly subscription. There are ample legitimate news options available via iTunes apps. If you truly need to read WSJ, try a print subscription.
Where’s the newspaper? I am about ready to cancel my subscription because I can no longer see the entire newspaper and choose what I want to read. Instead, some powers have decided what’s important for me to see. For example, where is the Mansions section? It’s not listed as a section but if I go to the print edition (which is clumsy and difficult to navigate), it is there meaning it must still exist. But it doesn’t show in the list of sections in the new app. Please bring back the newspaper format in the main menu bar. You can leave all the other items for those who want you to choose what is important to them.
Get rid of them. I pay for a subscription, I don’t need to see gambling ads here as well
Why did Print Edition disappear in your last update? Please bring it back!
