PinPal is a bowling scorekeeping application designed to provide bowlers with detailed statistics to help improve their average. PinPal keeps track of both leagues, tournaments, and open bowling, allowing bowlers to view their average and other statistics in many different ways. PinPal puts tons of useful stats right at your fingertips. Ever wondered what your average would be if you picked up all your single pin spares? Ever wondered what spares you leave the most, and how often you are able to pick it up? Well now you can find out! Scores can be entered either by selecting all the pins you knocked down or entering the scores you get for each ball. Also, if you don't want to take the time to enter each frame, you can just enter the final score for the game. Make sure to check out PinPal Lite if you want to try it out before buying! PinPal helps me keep track of my Bowling stats, including strike percentage, spare percentage, single spare percentage multipin spare percentage split percentage. it’s an awesome app.
Bought this app when I joined a bowling league and was in and out. Now I use it to improve my game and track my progress. Helps tremendously. Has been a big help to target focus areas of need of work.
If I get a strike in the 10th and then miss a spare in the 11th, the stats show a missed spare, which I agree with, but then it counts it as an open frame. I think it should not count it as an open frame since I filled it with a strike.
I love this app on my iPad. I know it’s available on a phone also, but I don’t have an iPhone. If I wanted to use it on my phone, i would have to purchase it again.
Been using this app for years. I enjoy the ability to sort leagues, open play, and tournaments statistics. Would recommend to keep all of your bowling info in one easy place.
I’ve used PinPal for nearly 10 years now. Very reliable, easy to convert phone to phone, easy to use, very good stats. For any bowler who wants to track their stats, this is THE APP as far as I’m concerned.
I’ve been tracking my shots for years now with this app, in leagues, tournaments and at nationals. It’s been one of the best resources in my bag for improving my game, especially when I’m struggling. One thing I really would love to see is an integration with the Apple Watch. If it could track release information, that would be awesome. But more important would be if I could update the app in real time when I’m still down waiting for the ball return to quickly mark the pins.

The app works, and is easy to use, however there are things about it that need updating and it seems the developer has given up working on it. You can’t sort your bowling balls in the list of balls. That’s ok if you have a small amount, but it’s a complete nightmare if you have a lot like me. Also, the ball list is just a single line text entry. In other apps you can upload pictures and input notes like layout, ball type, etc. If the developer would just update the app, add new features every once in a while, this would probably be the best bowling tracker available.
