Crash assistance: If a crash is detected, we'll check if you're OK and help you with next steps. Quicker claims process: If you choose to file a claim after an accident, your driving information from the app could help move along the claims process. Love it! I love that USAA is watching over Me.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t know when I am the driver or not, it just gives you the score and you have to go manually to change it and keep track, it is a lot of work, i wish this wouldn’t be like that.
I don’t understand how the app is always down yet when it comes time for a policy renewal they come up with some random discount number. Which in my opinion should be higher.
This app is silly because it penalizes you for hands free calls — isn’t that the point? Be hands free? No ability to add context, no common sense in the app
Received trip events that affected my discount while not even driving. calling USAA resulting in “confirmation of educating the customer on the app functionality” then the app went down for 3 weeks with basically no communication or resolution. when the app finally became operational again up today my policy period had renewed and I was given my discount effective 5/18/26 overlooking a few hundred miles and dozens of trips which could have improved my score and discount for the next 6 months. All for the privilege of them tracking me and collecting data 24/7.
Despite seeing I’m enrolled on the website, it says my number is invalid. Then I get an email saying it’s been fixed, and yet it still tells me my number is invalid.
It only stores two weeks of driving data. I check it frequently because it is often incorrect. Either it says I was a driver when I wasn’t. Or it says either the trip was not a drive or that I was the passenger when I definitely was the driver. I want to keep it up-to-date and accurate because I do not drive a lot and I want to maximize my insurance discount.
The app is too sensitive and not realistic to today’s day and age for technology
Still flags driving events that did not occur.
I’m happy to report that as of 6/11/2026 the app is working again for me!
