Numerous times I came home to backlight turned on when it should have auto turned off

Great app to control my favorite lights in many different ways. Just hate that there are ads on this app to control expensive products, and that the ads are so poorly implemented and there’s a huge lag that messes with me using the product I bought.

Overall app works as it should but how does the color temperature setting not have a kelvin’s indicator so you can see the exact color. Please get this added Also the widget needs a update. First thing would be a better indicator if the light is on or off. Maybe making the bulb light up when on and then off when off. The other is would be nice to have haptic feedback when you tap the buttons

These lights are awful. They worked fine at first, but after multiple firmware updates my outdoor lights constantly disconnect, stop responding, or won’t turn on at all. The app is buggy and updates seem to make things worse instead of better. For the amount of money these cost, the reliability is terrible. I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone looking for dependable outdoor lighting. Save yourself the frustration and buy something else.

Why are there ads on the top of this app now? Guess it’s time to sell my Govee lights since this company is trying to make a quick buck with intrusive ads.

Had to delete lights from app as they started turning on at random times/patterns/too annoying to have to start from scratch, it’s very disappointing after spending so much money on lights.

Fix your app

I don’t know a single person who finds this app intuitive for anything custom. I’ve never seen such a terrible interface for something as simple as a light that’s had this many “features” implemented in it. It’s really that awful. There’s dependent functions all over this app and zero hyperlinks do amend it, you have to go through menus and menus to find what you need instead of being directed there. No widget support No control center support No home app support You can automatically gradually decrease brightness over time but CAN’T increase it without Making 10 manual steps in the?? Erase the entire app and start from scratch seriously…

Nice app with lots of options. Fairly easy to use.

When i first got the app it worked flawlessly with Alexa and the lights, but now I can only control it through the app. Alexa no longer works and even after changing WiFi’s, updating, removing it as a skill AND restarting the whole setup process. It refuses to work which kinda defeats the purpose of even connecting it to an outside app. Not sure what else to do but this needs to be fixed asap.

Great products. I own several products, including string, lights, lamps, and candle lights. they are beautiful and easy to use. They certainly brighten up our little part of the world!
