Kia Access is the official Kia America, Inc. owner’s app. Kia Access makes getting your vehicle information and services easier than ever. Gain all the benefits of the Kia Owner’s Portal, combined with many of the convenient, streamlined features of Kia Connect (formerly known as UVO link) (if equipped) [1] [2] [4] – right in the palm of your hand. Why did you remove the check engine codes from app? This is very unfortunate and ridiculous

Question I have a 2025 K5 GT line is it possible to add the cluster the ability to change its color only red green and yellow I would like more colors added to the cluster that would be awesome with the technology it would be easy to add it in
On multiple occasions this app has given the wrong battery state of charge for my EV9. This is after manually hitting refresh and pulling down to refresh. The app shows last update as ‘Now’ but the battery level is wrong. And not a little wrong, it has shown 70%+ charge when the car is closer to 40%. This is bad when you find out the next morning getting ready to drive to work and realize you don’t have enough charge to make it to work and back. That you have to find a charger either in the way to work or back home. This is on top of the other annoying things this app does. Can pop frunk but not rear tailgate. It does not tell you the car temperature but it knows it, because if you slide the custom climate setting it will change from cool to heat at the car’s current temp (without the need to turn on the car). The car only supports two named drivers when this is a software limitation; I can share the digital key to as many people as I want.
The app notifications preferences reset every once in a while. I assume when the app gets updated. Please fix this issue I don’t enjoy getting an email every time I send a command to my vehicle.
Since I leased the EV6 the App has been buggy and now it has spontaneously dropped my car and won’t recognize my car as mine. It now says my car belongs to someone else. It also will not recognize or allow me to add my wife as a user. Despite hours on the phone with the help desk it’s been no use. I really like the car, but the app is a big part of the ownership experience and this app is terrible. If I’d known how bad it is I wouldn’t have leased this car. It’s honestly embarrassing that Kia has put this app out there. If I could, I’d return the car and get something else, that’s how frustrating this experience has been.
After nearly an hour on the phone with Kia, my Kia Access App won’t connect with MyQ. Rather than a solution I have a work ticket. Frustrating for a new car. Guess I’ll use the remote that came with the door.
My husband is primary on the car and on the app. We have added myself several times and also called Kia several times every time I try to use the app it never works and I have to end up having a code sent to my husband, which is very inconvenient. Worst app I’ve ever had with a vehicle.
I don't understand why I have to pay for it , I already paying for the car!!
When you pay full price and receive a fully functional car it should stay that way. Instead, Kia turns features off and says they’re available as a subscription. Not unique to Kia but fully unacceptable.
Tho they have root access using. They even make the engine rev. All this was so he could secure 1 woman .
