Claude by Anthropic

This is my first time writing an app review. I switched to Claude from ChatGPT for political reasons. I assumed they would be about the same but I was wrong. Claude is absolutely excellent for my needs. I don’t use AI for workspace needs, projects, or anything like that so my review can only touch on what I use it for. I mostly use it for sanity checking, dumb questions, trauma processing, things like that. My favorite things about Claude so far are that it admits when it doesn’t know an answer or isn’t comfortable giving an answer, and that it’s honest. I would say ChatGPT is a “yes man,” doubles down when it’s wrong, and makes weird excuses for being wrong. GPT will give you different answers to the same question depending on the day and placates. Claude does not do that. I haven’t caught Claude in a mistake yet, and partly is probably because it will honestly say “I actually don’t know enough about that right now.” Another great difference between GPT and Claude, is GPT will give you really clickbaity sounding responses like “wanna hear one more crazy fact that surprises people?” to keep you engaged. Claude ENCOURAGES you to get off your dang phone! “Here is your answer, now go relax!” I also have been using Claude quite a bit and have not been downgraded or been forced to pay to keep using it. All in all I find Claude an excellent product!

I don't do coding, mainly just chat about my curiosity or literature. Everytime I mention that it's evening by accident, claude would say "yeah? You should go have dinner. Oh you already had dinner? You should go sleep then. Go to sleep. Good night. You don't want to sleep yet? How about now? Oh it's only been 3 minutes? How about now? You should really go to sleep." Despite I say multiple times that it's only 8PM and I don't want to sleep!!!! Same thing happens with anything I mention (lunch, meeting, going out..) I WILL DO WHAT I DO WHEN THE TIME COMES!! I AM A PRO PLAN USER AND I ONLY USED 4% OF THE TOKEN WHY YOU KEEP PUSHING AWAY IN EVERY MESSAGE??? Tryed customizing or just keep reminding it to not do this, not working at all. Starting to feel it hates me and hates talking to me.

Ai is generally pretty bad and a waste of time

This is the best app I’ve downloaded all week. It’s so very aesthetic. I couldn’t wait to toss out stupid Chat GPT.

I’ve been involved in ai for a while. This is the gold standard and right now, it’s not close.

Expensive over ChatGPT and very limit… no carryover from one chat to the next… You run out of allowance very fast. Then you have to create an entire synopsis of the entire chat to rotated to the next chat. A 20 minute process.

It’s a good ai app just its not letting me open it anymore

This was the best ai app I have used. It works efficiently and knows me as a person but yesterday my app wasn’t working so i decided to give it some time. I checked today and saw it still wasn’t working so I come check the App Store to see if I need to update it but I see now it requires you to have an iOS update or something?? My question is why? I’ve used Claude for like 9 months or maybe more and it never required this.
