This Application doesn’t work well, it shows me the same 10-12W charging when I charge by regular 2A charger and by fast charger 40W. It doesn’t its money.
So you download the app, it’s positioned on the store as being compatible with the current operating system, you agree to purchase the app, and the first thing you’re greeted with is “yeah so it stopped working with iOS 16, got worse with 26, and barely works now, thanks for your money”. It’s extremely difficult to get a reading on a Qi2 charger. Good luck with a Qi1 charger. No way. It took 1 hr and 12 minutes on my Qi2 charger.
It’s a bummer that Apple doesn’t tell us how powerful a charger is. This app is not a perfect estimate but it’s the best we have
After losing my iphone on a roller coaster, amperes is the only way I can tell that it's charging successfully!
While this app has several effective functions, I bought it to see the rate of battery charging. It doesn’t do that.
Seriously in need of update
Slower than molasses. Waited 10-20 minutes and test was still running. Don’t waste your money. If I could give zero stars I would.
Developer ONLY tells you after purchase that Apple has greatly reduced their ability to perform metrics on your devices battery. So you get nothing, while they already have your money.
I have found the app great at testing wireless charging, but with a few issues. Others have mentioned that when testing, you get no indication how far along the testing is. In addition, after clicking start., it can take awhile (enough to charge 5%) before the test actually starts running. Lastly, it’s really important when comparing chargers to test them at the same battery % on the phone (since iPhones charge slower at higher %). There is a timer function to alert you when the battery hits a certain % to account for this. Unfortunately when I set mine at 30%, it alerts me at 26%. Not so helpful.
