This application is so garbage, there is no feasible way it’s that hard to maintain such basic app. The authentication methods do no work, you cannot edit your basic information, payments error out on the payment screen, the app crashes constantly. Nothing is accurate, whoever manages this app needs to be fired.

Cannot log in but able to log in on site no problem. It’s so buggy. It crashes all the time. Trying to just navigate around is so frustrating. So slow and does not respond appropriately. Tried on iPad also and same thing. Tried on iOS 18 and 26. It’s unusable. The employees keep saying use rhe app but I can’t! It’s unsusable

I am trying to plan a move while I am in a different city than my departure city and the location access feature is causing a ton of problems for this. I know where I need to move from, you don’t have to detect it from my phone.

Downloaded app to bring up details about my rental. The app shows it in “orders”, but when I click to get more information it pops up a “connection lost” message (the connection is NOT lost) and I’m unable to get info

Received error message when trying to sign up for an account.

The app has a lot of glitches. I had to sign in multiple times to try to extend time on the truck. Then when returning the truck I had multiple issues completing the return on the app. The app kept taking me to the start of the questionnaire.

This app has been great for years, but with this latest version, there is no way to log in. Entering a one time password with your phone number sends you to a new contact information screen, which gives you an error once you fill it out. Web service error 429. I don’t like leaving reviews like this, but I looked everywhere to be able to send a bug report to the developer, but can’t find any link. Pretty lame.

I canna sign in with my phone number. The option for a code does not work.

This app tracks your location when it’s in the background even if you haven’t authorized the tracking.

For five months I have been unable to pay my Ubox storage bill online or via the app. I have spent hours on the phone and using the text help. This issue has been “sent up the chain” and I have never received any communication back. I have been to two physical U-Haul locations seeking help to no avail. It is incredibly frustrating. The only upside is that most of the employees I’ve encountered have been incredibly friendly.

Whoever coded this app should end their life with haste

The app is pretty rough overall but their actual service is astoundingly bad. They claimed to have availability in my neighborhood on the day I needed to move, went through arduous booking and upsell process, and then came to realize that the location they purported would have a truck ready for me actually wouldn’t and i would have to uber to get it and pay the extra mileage. I used the chat in the app, but the agents don’t have access to any tools to actually help me change to a different size truck at the location I had originally booked for. This is a company that clearly doesn’t think much of customer experience or value customers. Avoid at all costs! Don’t bother with the chat. Don’t bother at all!
