Whoever coded this app should end their life with haste

The app is pretty rough overall but their actual service is astoundingly bad. They claimed to have availability in my neighborhood on the day I needed to move, went through arduous booking and upsell process, and then came to realize that the location they purported would have a truck ready for me actually wouldn’t and i would have to uber to get it and pay the extra mileage. I used the chat in the app, but the agents don’t have access to any tools to actually help me change to a different size truck at the location I had originally booked for. This is a company that clearly doesn’t think much of customer experience or value customers. Avoid at all costs! Don’t bother with the chat. Don’t bother at all!

App is charging $.20 more a mile than website. Scandalous, Uhaul…

Why are you reading my location days after renting a truck and not opening the app? Unnecessary. I’m a paying customer, you shouldn’t need to farm my data.

The terms and conditions won’t stop popping up. And the bar code scanner is hit or miss.

I have no complaints about U-Haul as a service, i’m very happy with their trucks and their customer service, but this app doesn’t work for me. It’s been the ‘spinning wheel of death’ - loading - the whole time I’ve been moving and more importantly it wasn’t available for me when I needed it… to find details so that I could pay my movers. Maybe it’s my phone or my problem on my end but my experience with this app it’s been useless.

My reservation changed right before my pickup time, and the app never alerted me. I ended up driving to the wrong location and didn’t realize it until I tried to check in. The check in process is buggy and hard no navigate. Needs usability enhancements.

Terrible

Useless app. Every time I’ve ever reserved a U-Haul on here in the last five years the truck isn’t actually available and you have to scramble to find another one last minute.

While it’s nice to be able to access your information in a central place, the app is nearly unusable as it prompts you to sign terms and conditions every 5 seconds, no matter how many times you’ve done it before. I deleted and re-downloaded the app to try to resolve this issue, but it seems to be a programming problem

Response time was long, no one was able to help me. Had to message and call multiple different numbers to get no help when my reservation got changed the day before to another location 30 miles away. Message system gave me multiple errors.
