It does require a subscription but it is cheaper than what reddit offers and the app is way nicer and highly customizable. Definitely worth the money.

you have to pay in order to use the app
Constantly getting hit with the “no posts found” screen. Doesn’t matter if it’s the home tab or a subreddit I follow. I noticed this issue awhile ago and now it’s becoming more frequent. Unsubbed.
No ads, totally customizable, rock solid stable, worth every penny

Narwhal is, by far, the best way to Reddit. The filtering alone keeps me sane.

I’ve been using Narwhal for years, and the release of Narwhal 2 has made it even better. The subscription is worth every cent. The developer is very responsive to questions, reports of bugs, and feature suggestions in the apps subreddit.
