Every time I try to review the camera is always loading

In the beginning, after I’d already paid off the equipment in whole, I was experiencing issues with one of my window sensors. Now my base station changes to “stay” after I’ve set it to “away”. And customer support is terrible. I would not recommend this company.

The hub has been replaced numerous times, we struggle to watch playback as it will not record. It’s been a constant problem maintaining the camera if I had to do over again I would not use vivant… It took almost 2 years for them To spell out name correctly on the account. Customer service lacks and over all devices are junk. Choose another provider

Instead of worrying whether I’ve left doors or windows open or unlocked or weather an intruder could enter my home when I was sleeping, the press of a button or two provides instant security

I had the system for 9+ years. Lately, it had 4 or 5 false alarms. One day, we had police officers in front of our house checking us when we did not even get the notification. Defeats the purpose of having a peace of mind with securing the house when it gives you a lot of false alarms. Liked Vivint since I had it and never thought of switching until recently. Customer service isnt helpful either when trying to solve the false alarm issues other than selling newer hardwares.

I do not get alerts when people are at my door or when I receive a package

First, let me just say the cameras give me incredibly clear and crisp views around my property, and they notify me when people are on it… HOWEVER, AT LEAST ONCE A DAY, FOR SIX YEARS (since 2020), at least one camera goes offline and I have to reboot the panel. I bought these cameras when I bought my home, truly expecting that by paying for a quality system I’d be getting quality software to monitor camera activity …. Not so much! I contacted Vivint many times about the issues of offline cameras and I was told I’d have to pay $50 for a service call, even after telling them “the cameras are still going offline and still not fixed”. This shouldn’t cost me anything if they’ve never worked properly AND had an active warranty. What’s the warranty for if VIVINT won’t honor it???!!! Cameras are now paid off, but I can’t access my camera feed without paying $47.50 a month subscription. Had I known these cameras would be useless without a monthly subscription fee, I never would’ve bought them. Also, there’s one camera that goes offline several times a day and it’s the most important one, my front door. I will be pulling these off my home and getting a more reliable and affordable service in the next few months. I have two Ring cams, one on each side of my house that I don’t have Vivint on, and I’ve never had any issues or had to pay for access to view the feed…. and most importantly, I’ve never gotten error message of “offline”… not one time!!!! Beyond frustrated about wasted money and time.

It won’t disarm from my phone. So it makes it inconvenient to run to alarm to turn it off. It sends a message to my phone and I can respond. So why it’s not registering to disarm . I’m not sure. Still having some problems with a camera. When I have set it off they have been quick to respond!

Vivint is a great company for home security. I recommend it to everyone who wants to keep their home safe and protected.

Tech is limited and constantly broken. Also they nickel and dime you every chance they get.
