Vivint event videos are grey boxes and won't play. I have rebooted vivint hub, deleted and reinstalled app, rebooted wi-fi router. I can't download any videos, including the few clips that will load and play, as nothing happens when clicking on the new floating share/download button. Video doorbell takes forever to engage, so there's no using that to interact remotely with anyone at the door. It's faster for me to physically go to the front door. Sometimes, I leave the doorbell camera still trying to connect, and it still hasn't by the time I've concluded interaction with whoever is at front door. There is consistently one smoke detector/carbon monoxide detector that doesn't work properly. Batteries have to be replaced every few months. Hub has to be rebooted frequently. Just overall, very poor service and equipment. For how expensive Vivint is, they don't earn it.

This app used to work perfectly before I upgraded my system and the app itself. Now I don’t receive push notifications when somebody rings my doorbell nor do I receive a push notification or when somebody pushes the button on my interior camera, I have tried reaching out to Support several times and they cannot figure out what’s going on either.

Camera always go out updates do more harm then good. Playback always has unexplained gaps

All the company wants is money have been a loyal customer since 2020 and they charge for everything even if we pay $10 for the service fee they still want $100 for the worker to come out and check out the issue. What’s the service fee for then? Then Once u pay off the system you need to upgrade your system and the only option is to get new camera. Not worth it. Always freezes or take a while to load

We’ve had Vivint for 7 yrs. Pretty decent price and the customer service can be really good. Our main issue is that there are malfunctions, here and there, and it’s an inconvenience to have to call customer service or have someone at home for the tech support. Overall, I’d recommend it.

Only concerned with a sale. Customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. Stay far away from this company. Pick anyone else.

Glitches often, rewind is unavailable and app shuts off randomly

This app is frustrating! I keep turning the deter tone off but it stays on, I change the detection zone, it won’t change, I change the sensitivity, it won’t change. It’s ANNOYING

Our system started going offline on certain cameras, help me understand why it keeps going offline.

This app doesn’t play 24/7 video. It barely loads any live feed, good luck trying to go back longer than 12 hours.

Fix the playback it freezes
