Slice - Order Local Pizza

I like not having to talk to someone, but $12 to get it delivered like 10 blocks is too much.

I was hesitant to call, so I decided to use this app. I placed an order for two pizza wings and a salad, specifying the toppings I wanted. I also requested extra toppings, but the app mistakenly added “Supreme” instead of my chosen toppings. It allowed me to select up to 11 toppings, but I did not specify any of my allergies or dietary restrictions. When the pizza arrived, it was two Supreme pizzas, none of which matched my order or preferences. The pizza shop informed me that the app had sent them the wrong order. I attempted to resolve the issue with the customer service, but they were pushing for the pizza shop to rectify the mistake made by the app. The meal cost $140, plus a $25 tip, for what I had paid for. The app continued to contact the pizza shop, attempting to get a refund or assistance, but the pizza shop did not make any mistakes; the app did. The app receives a fee but does not take any responsibility for the error. In the end, I wasted $165 on a pizza that was not what I ordered. I strongly advise against using this app, as it still needs significant improvement.

This app has a weird psych design warfare thing going on. It’s a great app (and i love the underlying premise), but it’s way to limiting. Half the tims I go to Grubhub + Yelp for a way better experience

I placed an order for delivery and got a text to track my pick up order. Spoke with customer service which is likely a bot, and was basically told to cope & pick up my order. Ordinarily I wouldn’t write a review about this type of thing, but I am caregiving for my 90yo father and was completely inconvenienced by having to leave him to pick up the food.

Contacted support over food arriving cold. Nothing was done

I ordered from the app 6/14/26. FOR PICKUP, I show up to get my order and the person at the front counter tells me some guy already picked up your order using YOUR name. I was so confused and baffled as I had clearly placed a pickup order. When I tried to check, there was no information provided about who picked it up, when it would be delivered, nothing. Why? Because if I tried to place a delivery order on the app it would prompt me that “they do not deliver to my address “ …well no order ever arrived to my house and someone took my order and scammed the restaurant too. When I contacted customer service, they were unhelpful and just said they would investigate the matter…. I am really grateful to the establishment though. They were very kind and understanding about the situation. They have no fault in this. But this app DO NOT USE IT.

App says I’ve earned a free large cheese pizza, then still charges you for the cheese pizza and there is no way to redeem it 😡

I use slice to order online from Pizza Haven in Rindge. We moved here in December and LOVE pizza haven. This makes ordering easy.

I ordered a Pizza through the app and it ended up being prepared at a location very far from where I live. I didn’t realize the same named restaurant by me had shut down. When I called to see if they can reimburse or simply use the money I had placed 10 minutes prior to order at another local restaurant, they said they couldn’t do that and they could only offer me a partial refund at 50%. It was a plain cheese pizza. Something that this particular restaurant could have served and not lost money on any given night. Mind you it was Friday so lots of plain slice lovers to gobble. I could understand if it was a custom order. Kudos to the restaurant, however, for being willing to meet me halfway, but I unfortunately needed to grab it before running out to see a client so I can leave food behind for my kids. So it wasn’t the restaurant fault but it was Slice’s fault I’m no longer going to be a customer of Slice as I was simply asking to see if we can place my order to someplace local. Nine dollars lost later I’m now at another another establishment and late for work. Thank you to the restaurant. Really upset that Slice couldn’t do better.

Makes my life easier and delivers quality pizza among other items at a reasonable price.

The service fees are are ridiculous and the customer service is horrible! Call or order from the actual store and save your money. I just ordered and made a mistake ordering and immediately contacted customer service and they were unwilling to help. They kept saying “your order is already in the over and there’s nothing that can be done. I order from this place all the time and they would have definitely helped if the order was made directly to them. DO NOT USE!See less
