Google Maps used to be awesome 5/5 - it was so functional. But now when you search a business, you cannot find what the ADDRESS is. You are forced to look through a bunch of DISTRACTING JUNK. Does Google realize that people look at Maps while they are driving for LIVE directions? Sometimes, you can’t find your destination, or you need to change a destination in the middle of driving. Looking through all that JUNK and trying to find the tiny print of the address will CAUSE AUTO ACCIDENTS. And there is no need for an “Ask Maps” AI feature, or an entire section for AI. Maps is for DIRECTIONS - NOT Google ADS.

Stop prioritizing ads and sponsored locations when people are trying to navigate to the right place. It’s extremely dangerous, especially when people are driving and need accurate location results. The first two suggestions should be based on relevance, not advertising.

Route planning algorithms need significant improvement. The app often suggests inefficient routes for both driving and walking, choosing unnecessary detours and loops instead of the most direct and practical (and legal) path. Walking usually includes “teleportation-like” segments in illegal or unsafe areas — for example, routing through tunnels without pedestrian paths. In driving navigation, there are cases where lane-change instructions are given after a solid line or where the app suggests turns that are not allowed or do not exist. For public transportation, the app frequently fails to build routes that require transfers between buses, trains, or other transit services. It can recognize individual routes but often cannot combine them into a complete journey, forcing users to manually search for transfer options. The UI/UX also needs improvement. Simple features are often buried behind multiple layers of settings, making them difficult to find. In addition, some functionality is only available on the desktop version without any clear indication, causing users to waste time searching for options that are unavailable in the mobile app. These issues are not limited to the US; I have experienced the same problems in multiple European countries as well. Overall, this creates unnecessary friction and negatively impacts the user experience.

The owner’s response to my original review is not true. One of the owners (Michelle) called me after my negative review posted.. She wasn’t happy. I asked her what part of my review wasn’t true? 1) My work was not completed in the fall of 2025 as per our original conversation. 2) My fall schedule of being out of town was told to them ahead of time and not performing my work timely. 3) I didn’t receive updates in Spring of 2026 when they told me they were coming and didn’t show or call to tell me they where not coming. I only found out when I called to see where they were. 4) When I spoke to her husband today, he informed me that they were in fact “planning” to come the next day which would have been Wednesday 6/3. (How would I know, when no one calls) but when Michelle spoke to me today she told me they “planned” on coming Friday 6/5. So I’m pretty sure I was being placated to. Final word on the matter…Ex-Customer is not happy, not impressed and feel taken advantage of.

Google Maps is better than Apple Maps, but we do need a filter on the bad data that gets through and moves places to the wrong location or just creates incorrect places. It’s rare for popular locations, but it does happen because some people just like to be disruptive, while the rest of us appreciate accuracy. Can’t wait to see what’s next with AI integration for spoken directions, lots of room for improvement and the best part is that’s exactly what Google does. Apple might want to take notes. I honestly wish they’d just give up and succumb to Google Maps, they had it right in the very beginning, but then forgot how to go with what’s already the best!

Not only this dental office over charges insurance with 2 front office staff who are trained by Ram who looks like the owner and up to taking advantage of insurance, the message comes after your review that please call us and let’s discuss is another scam. The number is operated by front office staff which they tell you that is auto generated so ignore it and take it with your insurance. Never seen that for cleaning which is $59 advertised they empty your insurance. And when you ask they say oh your insurance was charged not you. This practice is very shady. I hope they go out of business soon for scamming people.

Since AI got introduced navigation got way worse, I got my route changed after I picked one and since I’m driving I didn’t notice it until it was too late! All my plans got ruined thx to “smart” AI and it’s not the first time already! I’m switching to another navigator!

Please update the destination time and numbers of miles next to stop.
