ParkMobile: Park. Pay. Go.

The past year I’ve been using this app with no issues. Then they refused me today because I use cashapp Visa. It’s frustrating since I use it for work.

Keeps saying parking not started

I’m honestly annoyed that sfmta transferred to this app bc it never works. it says to search up ur zone but won’t show your parking number. I will be rushing to where I need to be and the app won’t work and i then have to find a different app to pay on… It won’t let me favorite parking zones that go to for easy access rather than remembering the whole number again. it requires to put a lot more effort into just parking my car and then needed.

App has settings to not send marketing messages, but they still send emails for Nift. Violates customer privacy preferences. The most amateur app I’ve seen.

Every time I use the app and the actual website, it times out on the payment page. I have tried it with Apple Pay and manual entry and no change. My friends experience the same issues when using this app. I have to try numerous times before it will actually work.

“Parking not started” Tried to use the app to pay for parking. Received message, “parking not started”. No explanation. Tried two payment methods and double checked both. Both were working fine before and after trying to park. Tried to pay by phone. Overly cheerful bot was unable to do it either. Was told by the bot that I would be connected to a representative. Was instead hung up on. Tried the entire process twice. Wasted half an hour. At least you can burn garbage for heat. This is absolutely useless.

If you are in charge of parking for your city, please do not contract with ParkMobile! It is the lowest quality app I am forced to deal with of all the apps I have used. The forms are buggy, the UX is extremely clunky, and they have this awful circle thing for selecting the time that's painful to use. Latest example just now: I spent 15 minutes of getting "Somethjng went wrong" and then when my wife downloaded the app and tried to pay, it tells her that the vehicle is already in use.

I’ve tried to use several times today, each time it tells me it can’t go through and to try later! Where I am parked has no other option than ParkMobile. 😖

I honestly struggle to see the purpose of the ParkMobile app. The biggest problem is that the app itself makes it extremely difficult to find and purchase parking. The map interface is confusing, cluttered, and does a poor job of helping users identify parking options near their destination. Instead of allowing me to simply search for a stadium or venue and compare nearby parking locations, prices, and walking distances, the app presents a collection of parking lots with very little context, making it frustrating to determine where anything is actually located. In my experience, the app is so difficult to navigate that I was unable to successfully find and purchase parking through it. The only reliable way to secure parking was by going directly to the venue’s website and accessing parking options from there. If users have to leave the app and use a venue’s website to accomplish the primary task the app is supposed to handle, it raises the question of why the app is necessary in the first place. Modern smartphones are among the most advanced and intuitive pieces of technology ever created. The device in my hand is exponentially more powerful than the computers used during the Apollo era, yet it requires virtually no instruction manual to operate. That is the standard users have come to expect from well-designed technology. If an app requires extensive trial and error, outside guidance, or a workaround through another website just to perform its core function, then the user experience has fundamentally missed the mark. A parking app should make locating and purchasing parking simple, intuitive, and efficient. Unfortunately, ParkMobile does the opposite, turning what should be a straightforward task into an unnecessarily frustrating experience. While the service itself may be useful, the app’s search functionality, map design, and overall usability need significant improvement. Overall, I found the app far more frustrating than helpful and would not rely on it to find event parking in the future unless major improvements are made to its navigation and user experience.

ParkMobile does not coordinate with local municipality parking garages even though they offer payment in those facilities. I received citations after paying through the ParkMobile app in the Annapolis municipal garage. ParkMobile is either being lazy by not coordinating with the municipality or they are just plain thieves because there is signage to pay in the garage when obviously they do not even report it to the municipality. THIEVES AND IDIOTS.
