EV Connect is the home of the most innovative, robust and feature-rich cloud-based software platform for managing electric vehicle charging stations, their interaction with utilities and the driver experience. The EV Connect App uses location-based services to allow drivers to easily find, access, and securely pay for EV charging. Drivers can search for and locate electric vehicle charging stations based on location, station ID, availability, power level provided, and accessibility. Start charge sessions simply by scanning QR codes or entering the desired station ID in the app. With the EV Connect electric vehicle charging app, you can also: • Monitor your current charge sessions in real-time • Get phone notifications as soon as your EV is finished charging • Make secure payments • Favorite locations that have easy access to your commonly used EV charging stations • Receive an email receipt of your EV charging transactions • View a history of past charging sessions • Report drivers that abuse charging station use

I tried to charge my Tesla four different times. It did not work at all. Instead, I just got charged $1.62 each time with no charge, and then I walk away and it just suddenly stops working. I'm then told I'll be charged a $25 per hour idle fee. It literally doesn't work, and the user interface is terrible. I do not recommend at all.
I ended up downloading the app because I tried to charge my car at a Ford dealership. The app would not tell me which of the chargers I was authorizing. I ended up having to go elsewhere to charge.
I suggest avoiding this company. I spent 20 minutes trying to activate a charge with no luck. When you call support, they will blame your vehicle when their software system seems to be the issue. I suggest avoiding any ev connect chargers since you will have to deal with this company running the back end.
Illegal prices
Connects easy. Just very slow.
Can’t just tap a debit card. Nope, they gotta get that DATA! Gotta force our dumb app on everyone. Losers
I use this charging station once a week and never have any issues at all. The price has been $.29 cents per kw/hr for at past the last month, which seems fair to me. The location being a hospital parking lot isn’t the greatest but it’s still quite convenient.
There are so many lousy, janky, scammy, useless EV charging apps out there and this ain't one. I hope it holds up.
It’s a toss up with the system it seems like every so often it tells you unable to charge car and you have to call in and they do a 100.00 pre off in order to use the machine customer service is not really much help especially when you try and ask for a manager they never call you back the only reason I keep coming back is it’s the cheapest station that’s close en to my house
Chargers are always broken. Support is not making any efforts to fix.
Poorly designed app
I’ve tried EV Connect with a number of different electric vehicles. I have seldom been able to get EV Connect to work. I can’t un recommend this enough. It’s the point where it’s just not worth my time to see if EV connect is going to work.
