Was super excited to use this app. However, once purchased, unable to pronounce words despite phonetics. If an individual unfamiliar with the Navajo language looks at a Navajo word, there is no clear and easy indication of where the vowels or consonants begin or end unless you have prior knowledge or teaching of the Navajo language. Also, having to go back and forth to find the correct vowels or consonants to use to correctly pronounce a Navajo word, makes it confusing without the word being taught visually available to view on the same page while scrolling through all the vowels or consonants. It honestly would be most useful and beneficial to have the words individually pronounced for those unfamiliar with the Navajo language to pronounce correctly. Please consider this form of upgrade.

No audio for words or sentences.

I bought this app because it was advertised as a way to learn Navajo. Within minutes of opening it, I realized it does nothing of the sort. All it gives you is a dictionary that converts words into Navajo no pronunciation guide, no audio so you can hear how the words actually sound, and nothing to help a complete beginner build any real understanding of the language. The games are entirely in Navajo already. How is someone supposed to learn from a game when they don’t know a single word yet? There is zero structure for actual learners. Here’s the biggest issue: the app requires you to already have prior knowledge of Navajo to get anything out of it. So who exactly is this supposed to be teaching? They advertise it as a language learning tool, but the moment you open it, it’s clear it was never built with learners in mind. You need to already know the language just to navigate it. The advertising is flat-out misleading and it felt like a cash grab the second I opened it. $24.99 for a glorified word converter is completely unacceptable. Do not buy this if you’re hoping to actually learn Navajo. You will be disappointed immediately.

I feel it would be a lot better with sound from someone that is Navajo growing up I have heard some of these words, but seeing them all put together and not being able to hear any of them used as like looking at Japanese writing and not knowing how it sounds I requested a refund but was unable to get one save your money do not buy this app too complicated without somebody telling you exactly how these words are pronounced

This app is such a cool way to learn such a beautiful language. Very helpful and phonetic breakdown is awesome. Loving it! Highly recommend!
