I’ve paid for this for several years and every year I say I’m not doing it again. If you use CarPlay this App will drive you crazy! Map goes black, just the turn-by-turn. Can’t see the curves. There is no “skip waypoint” on the CarPlay, so if you don’t run right over the waypoint or have to make a change due to closed road, it will keep trying to take you back to the last waypoint. So, finally you have to pull over, dig out your phone and click the skip the waypoint. Why or why Rever? How many years? You are losing business!
Can’t sign up with Apple account. They are intentionally making it difficult so you’ll bypass Apple and they can harvest personal data.
Navigating is horrible. Turn by turn navigation does not give you heads up fast enough. If you go off route, the map does not recalculate to get you back on course. It’s clunky and glitchy. Pausing the route while exiting the navigation requires you to end the ride and start a new route to get turn by turn working again. It’s buggy. No one in my area uses the app so finding other riders in the app is nil. Just go with Calimoto.
I follow my route w/ Rever on most rides. Maps are excellent, direction advice excellent. I do wish it was possible to evaluate and change waypoints while on a ride.
Awesome way to track and log you’re rides
Great breadcrumb routing program. Easy to use
REVER is incredibly easy to use, with a clean layout that makes planning rides quick and intuitive. The ability to discover and follow great motorcycle routes takes all the guesswork out of finding new places to ride. It’s become my go-to app whenever I want to hit the road and explore with confidence.
Seems good Still Figuring out
Seems like a hassle or they limited futures to paid pro version. I found Google Maps is way better. The free REVER only allows 3 planned stopped before you need to pay for the pro version. I’ll delete the app and tell my motorcycle group that Google Maps is better.
Last week traveling on a 3 day ride to the dragon from Huntsville area. First day leaving Huntsville, app worked as normal and i was able to save “Day 1 Ride” without issue. For the next 2 days, the app couldn’t locate my position, only showing a huge blue area so I was unable to record days 2 or 3 of my first trip to the dragon with my riding group. Very disappointed and my co-riders gave me other mapping options.
