The audio is the recording of a real person reading carefully and slowly in an American-midwest accent without background music or dramatic effect which many find distracting. If you find it too fast or slow for your preference, you can adjust the reading speed while still maintaining the natural voice sound. The program is simple to use - Touch the book icon to select the Book/Chapter to start at - You can fast forward, rewind, pause, and skip forward and back chapters. - Read along scripture text in synch with the audio - Navigate by Book, chapter and verse - Sleep timer - Repeat playback between books/chapters/verses - Change audio speed to suit your taste without affecting the voice sound.

LOVE this Bible app - Inexpensive and well worth it! Easy to use! I especially appreciate the speed adjustment. It is a wonderful resource.
Speaker is hard to understand….sounds muffled. Wish I could get refund.
I have had this for a few years now and love it, once you download it you don’t need internet to play it. I play it at night while I sleep. Sometime God wakes me up to hear certain things and repeats it a few times over a few days. It brings me peace to my soul. Highly recommend it.
Errors in the Bible reading
This app is clearly developed from someone that loves God and is serious about learning His Word. No gimmicks here - just features that arise, not from an elitist seminarian education decorated with bells and whistles linked to commentaries, etc., but from an humble spirit committed to knowing God and His Word. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Amazing work. The Lord has clearly blessed and guided you.
My husband and I listen to this on the road, at night, and whenever we can. I like to read along too. This is the best Bible app I’ve ever found. Reading and listening to the Bible is wonderful! God said He is the word, and I can’t get enough of it. It is new every day. God reveals His word by the Holy Spirit and teaches me great and might things that I did not know. Just like He said He would. ❤️
