I’ve had great success with MOST of the Times recipes. À reliable source!
Another unnecessary app that NYT forces upon long times subscribers of the NY Times paper to access years of saved recipes without any warning nor information. In addition, after logging in to the app and specifically NOT subscribing to any of their “newsletters”, they disrespect you by subscribing you to five (5) of their aggregated newsletters about various types of cuisine of their categorization. There is little that recognizes the desires of user/subscriber.
Amazing recipes, creative, very well laid out and explained, videos are super and the app is very easy to use. Love the personalized recipe suggestions (weekly etc). A primary source of inspiration and discovery in the kitchen for all types of meal. Well Done!
I’d rather read NYT Cooking than a steamy novel any day is the week! I love the diversity of the chefs, menu ideas and vegetarian options. I especially love the mini articles that often accompany the recipes.
I love how many different options NYT Cooking has. I can look up ingredients I have on hand and can almost always find a recipe.
Constant updates have rendered the app unusable. Why block permissions to run older version? Maybe the devs are trying to get me to cancel my subscription?
NYT cooking app has changed my life. Prior to its introduction in my life, meal planning and prep were one of the most dreaded activities of my day. Now, I look forward to perusing the recipes on the site to decide what delectable meal I can prepare today. It has introduced me to so many cultural fares that perhaps I would have never explored nor dreamed that could successfully prepare.
I very rarely use any of my cookbooks any more. My go-to is the NYT Cooking app. The recipes I’ve made have been so good! I have friends and family often ask for the recipes. I love seeing what the Daily Recipe is and enjoy looking at the recipe suggestions based on other recipes I’ve made. Thank you for being part of our every day life!
My go to cookbook for recipes on just about anything and everything
Especially with the new cooking mode, it’s a great way to cook most anything.
This app is easy to use and has so many great recipes, however it makes my phone hot within minutes (especially when browsing). I have an iPhone 17 pro that doesn’t have this issue on any other app… so it seems it could be much better optimized.
The many recipes make sure I never get bored cooking, love the diverse ingredients and the comments are very valuable and give space for experimentation
