Orchid Album makes keeping track of your orchids easy. Track development of your plants throughout their lives, on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch! Whether you're new to orchids, or an experienced collector, Orchid Album is the ideal tool for organizing your plants, watering schedules, and notes. Please note that Orchid Album does not come preloaded with any photos, nor does it include any plant care information and so forth. It only tracks information and displays photos you’ve added yourself. Here's what you can do with Orchid Album: - Record details about your plants, including botanical name, hybrid names, flowering details, fragrance, dimensions, and watering needs. - Select from over 500 botanical names (with over 100 genera), or add new names. - Track watering schedules for multiple plants, with local notifications. - Track flowering, fertilizing, and other events for every plant in dated log entries. - Create and edit log entry reminders linked to your calendar. - Add and rearrange multiple photos per plant and log entry. - Add text captions for each photo. - Scroll through photos in a full-screen gallery view, or in thumbnail form. - View your collection in table form, or by image. - View the log history for each plant, sorted by date. - Review statistics for your collection. - Protect your data with a passcode lock. - Database backup, restore, import and export over WiFi to your computer's web browser. - Transfer the complete database between devices (iPad / iPhone / iPod) over WiFi via Orchid Album ODBI-format support. - Supports iTunes file-sharing to transfer the database between device and computer. - CSV format support to import / export your Orchid Album database to and from desktop spreadsheet applications. - Orchid Report export feature. I really love the app and would give it 5 stars but there are missing orchid types in the watering choices, and no option to add them either, for example, Grammatophyllum and Cymbidium. Thank you for a very useful app. Update: I would not remove any stars but would certainly add 1 if there was a way to search quickly through my collection . Other than that, I recommend this app all the time.
Work great after update - it used to allow me to keep track of all these plants. We all know how fast this grows (no joke intended). But it is nice to keep track of when you get a plant and when it blooms and who you purchased them from.
After the most recent update, the app won’t even open. My iOS is not too old, unclear why it won’t work. Disappointed as I paid for this app.
Helps me to organize my 300+ orchids. By location and type. I am able to keep track of the last repot, fertilizing and watering.

Be sure to safe your results. I almost lost my entire collection except I found a backup. It was old but better than nothing.
For those of us who own multiple of the same species, a swipe left or right duplicate entry would make the app more efficient and useful. Having to re-enter the same data is time-consuming. Also, it would be nice if the vendor/acquired from created a database wheel to reduce typing the same vendor name. Lastly, there is not an option for Hanging Basket. Should be added in the same section as: Potted, Mounted, etc. Overall, a good pocket app for use when shopping at a show.
I was looking for an app to help me identify my orchids. This isn’t that. I wasted my money. Now I’m stuck with it I guess.
App is good to go. Been using it since 2019 and have no problems. Only thing can an update be added to where this is linked to a calendar. Only way to know when I need to water my plants is if I open the app. Linking it to my calendar would be more helpful for me.
I bought this app several months ago but haven’t really tried to use it until this past weekend. It’s been constantly crashing! I’m having to enter the data several times for each orchid! My iPad is relatively new and I recently downloaded the latest IOS version. The app is super glitchy and data entry is clunky.
