It’s a pretty nice, easy to use app. The only thing I hate is that all the past events get deleted from my calendar as soon as the season is over and our group is deleted. So I no longer have the games and practices on my calendar to reference later.
I am certain there are better ways of organizing events than Spond. I don’t understand what the value is.
This app it’s free, but offers so many features! I have been using for my basketball team and it’s been great! I really like it. I just would like to recurrent payment option to be easier to setup because I have not figured it out yet!

If I could give it zero stars I would. Why on earth does it keep making reset my password every day? Never experienced anything like this with any app let alone a sports management one. The Spond team needs to fix this issue!
Great customer service provided by Amalie at Spond! I experienced difficulty receiving a verification email. After two weeks of working with Spond, I asked to work with a “real” person and not the AI generated responses. Amalie contacted me and figured out the issue. I am very thankful for Amalie and very happy user of the Spond app.
The good: it works well at connecting people. The bad: 1) Notification mute doesn’t work properly. 2) Because of the above, one post happy group will ruin the entire app and the only respite is requesting removal from a group or deleting the app. 3) I can’t remove myself from a group.
As a sports parent you would think the app would allow video files to be shared. But no they are not supported. You would think I could upload multiple images at one time but no; only one file can be shared at a time. Awful UX and there is no phone support it’s all AI bots. This app is terrible.
Feature Suggestion: It would be very helpful if the app included a search function for posts and events within each group. Right now, members can only scroll through the feed or event lists, which can be time-consuming. Adding a keyword search bar would make it much easier for group members to quickly locate past announcements, updates, or specific events (e.g., “Trunk or Treat” or “Practice Schedule”). This feature would save time for both organizers and members, and help reduce repeated questions.
Nice app with many features, however a little overkill for the occasional user who just wants to book a court for an hour and play with a friend. It takes too many inputs to create a booking, also personally I find the UI a little cluttered. Only reason I use is that’s what the court operator chose.
