Description
The Frederick Scanner Pro is a live audio stream of Frederick, Maryland Police, Fire, Rescue, and Highway communications. Just start the app, press the play button and you're tapped into the Frederick scene. Choose "Fire Feed" and you'll hear only Fire, Rescue, EMS communications. Choose the "Airport Feed" to listen in on the local FDK Airport communications. All the other Fire/Police feed apps use services like Broadcastify and are delayed 1-2 minutes but the FredScanner Pro audio is delayed by on a few seconds! The Pro version includes: - CarPlay enabled - Switch between our Main feed, Fire feed and FDK Airport - Vastly improved audio - No audio delay - FredScanner Latest Incidents - Live traffic reports - Various Frederick County Webcam shots - Live MDSHA Traffic Cams This app is very useful if you live, or are in, Frederick, MD, USA. **This app streams audio from the internet, please check your cellular data plan before using.

Great deal for $.99! No stupid ads; cameras, incident tracking (fire calls), 10 codes all included.
I have loved the older version of this app and enjoyed it for years until very recently it began to sporadically stop working. So, I was super excited to see the latest update. I did get a black screen, at first, so I reinstalled and now I can see the new graphics.. But, no matter what I try, I have no audio. I know there’s transmission going on through another scanner app. I also miss the source of the call but that may be the same problem as the audio. Really disappointing.
This update is major overhaul, rebuilt from the ground up. The interface is much cleaner and more intuitive. Audio is much improved: clearer and less “clipping”. Also love the addition of the text showing the Latest Fire/Rescue incident which updates whenever there is a new incident. This helps in the event a listener misses the audio dispatch. Well done.
I use Frederick Scanner every day and it’s very interesting and useful but I noticed suddenly the app was just showing a black screen but I figured out I just had to reinstall it.
Great app. I got a black screen when I updated from the old app. But I just deleted the app and reinstalled it. Works like a champ now. Thanks!
As of a few days ago, the app stopped working on my wife’s phone. It is an iPhone 7 with the latest iOS. It just shows a splash screen for about two seconds and then disappears. It worked fine up until the new version. Still works on my iPhone SE.
Purchase this app a while back and recently re-download it just to realize why I deleted it in the first place. It is so poorly designed that it took me 10 minutes just to figure out how to switch stations. The poorly designed graphics are the best thing about it, and that’s about it… not worth it, even if it was free.
It had been working fine, now I try to see the tweets and it only pops up archives. I have to use a different app.
I can heard anything, is no videos what’s the point of pay for this ? So useful.
I can’t figure out how to edit a prior review but I’m so glad the update removed the ads. Thank you developers!!!!
